Anyone spot a single slot 750 ti yet?

The 750 ti review card that nVidia sent to all the review sites was a single slot (with a cooler that stuck out a bit). It looks as if no manufacturers actually used this design :( All the 750 ti cards I can find are double slot.. Has anyone spotted a single slot out in the wild yet?
 
nothing I've seen yet but I'm waiting for one myself. have 2 on the way already and they're both double slot.
 
Apperantly is the cooler fittings on the 750/750ti 43x43mm which is very uncommon. Hence the 3rd part producers couldn't use existing fans and heatsinks from other cards.
So we'll see which of them that will be ready to produce new passive and single slot coolers.
 
Didn't the same thing happen with the 650 series? The reference card was almost single slot but none of the manufacturers really went with the design.
 
anyway to replace the backplate universally and get a low profile fan?

It's a bit strange the situation right now.

KFA/Galaxy has already made a nonstandard card with the low profile one. Almost all the others has made cards with nonstandard PCB to use there own coolers.

So if there would come passive or single slots in the first wave then they should've been released.
I'm I not correct?

So if they would produce something more it would be in the second wave of releases. But when does those turn up usually? 1 month? 6 months? a year?
 
Low profile dual slot cards are perfect too. Especially when loneindustries creates his L2 case.

Passive would require a big heatsink. Now, LP single slot should be doable. Heck, I have a Sapphire Radeon HD 7750 that is LP single slot. It is the 800MHz version chip, which has a TDP of 55W. That's the same TDP as a GeForce GTX 750 (non-Ti). I'd love a LP single slot GTX 750, as that would give me maybe 60% more performance in my ISK 300-150 LAN box which has since been upgraded to a Core i5-4670K and (already have, soon to be installed) Radeon 7750. A GTX 750 would be awesome for it!
 
I would still be happy with a single slot bracket but a double slot cooler, but there aren't even any of those available in the US. Only one in the 750 line available is the Asus GTX 750, but I want a Ti with 2GB.
 
Surprised nobody has built a GTX 760 style cooler for this thing to get it down to a single-slot. Something like that would allow for a single-slot heatsink covering the entire face of the card + a slim blower fan hanging off the end.

It would probably end up looking like an 8800GT (with less PCB):

The 8800GT was a 105w TDP card, so a heatsink that size should have no trouble with a 60w card like the GTX 750 Ti.
 
The problem with the 8800GT cooler was noise. People these days are less tolerant of that.
 
Ok now I'm getting worried.

Still only KFA2/Galaxy that has made a card that's not "standard size with own fan" card.

On paper the 750/ti is perfect for passive cooling. Why havn't they realised it yet?

passive cooling has already been demonstated to work, just need some manufacutre to realize the market for it
 
Now we just need a single slot low profile, lol.

By the way, Zotac also made a gtx 750 that's almost identical to the KFA2/Galaxy card.
 
It's worth mentioning that the GTX 750 and GTX 750 Ti use exactly the same heatsink mount-points as a GeForce 6600GT

Any heatsink that fits a 6600GT will fit these cards... including the Nvidia reference heatsink (which is a small single-slot cooler)

Also worth mentioning that many 750Ti implementations use a 4-pin micro PWM header for the fan, so make sure you can recrimp or solder the correct connector.

Huh, weird. Every 750 Ti I've seen so far has a basic 2-pin fan header.
 
I've got Gainward 750 with 2GB, not TI thou - works well :)

And yeah, its pure single slot. Any questions?

That reminds of the Zotac 670 Twincooler. I think it was only around in Japan. It's really irritating that there are no single slot 750's or 750Ti's readily available in the US. I'm not about to pay $100 premium to import one.
