What game have you logged the most hours on?

I've logged over 1,600 hours on UT3.


Kind of depressing and epic at the same time. No TV soap operas for me just many fun hours of gaming.

UT3 was the last FPS game I played for more than a few minutes. Crysis3 looks interesting but I hardly ever play games anymore for some reason. I want to! But it just never happens. :p

To answer your question, and really just to show that there's whole other levels of depressing: do you know how many hours 3 years is? A little over 26,000. I played FFXI for 8 years and logged about that much time on my main guy. My wife plays the new FF online (XIV...) but I just can't get into it like she is. I think I got old or something. I take naps.
 
I don't know how many hours of HLDM I played all the way back to wonswap before steam until about 2005. I logged about 2k hours on l4d when it was good for the first year and had decent servers.

Played a shit ton of fear online also the first one was great the first 18 months or so until it became a hackfest.
 
WoW without a doubt...Played since it was released until wotlk. Then, quit for awhile and came back and for expansions. Since I don't have access to the account, I have no idea how many hours I logged...
 
Probably Oblivion, I havent done much online gaming.
Although LAN sessions of Quake 3 Arena might take the biscuit.
 
DOTA2 has 1000 hours. CS:GO is closing on that number and I expect it to eclipse it before the end of this year at 900+ hours.

In WoW vanilla I had logged over 14 days worth of play time. Add in time played in Wrath of the Lich King and Cataclysm and it probably moves closer to 25 days played.
 
I logged some 2700 hours in WoW by the time I quit 3 years ago. Yep, that's as sad as it sounds.
 
Nothing nearly as impressive. About 90 hours into Skyrim. I'm more of a hit it and quit it gamer :p
 
A 3-way toss-up between Street Fighter 2, Mario Kart 64, and Tekken 3.
 
I played easily well beyond 2000 hours in UT99, UT2004 and Quake 3. I wouldn't be surprised if I didn't have at least 4000 hours or more in UT99. That's probably the FPS game I have had the most time on. I didn't play UT2003 nearly as much though. I put several hundred hours into Diablo 2 and I've got thousands of hours tied up in the Mass Effect series. Not just in the game itself but making mods for ME3. Call of Duty 4 was another one I played the shit out of. Probably another 1500 hours in that. I have a fair bit tied up in Star Wars the Old Republic. It's probably the only thing I play with any regularity that isn't a shooter. I have no real information on how many hours I have in it but I'd say it's probably close to 3,000 hours since launch. I'm actually scared to do a /played on all the characters and total the time up.

I probably have over 10k hours in UT. From ~1999 till 2004 I played 4 - 6 hours nearly every single day. Some days I would play well over 8 hours (weekends and such) I've never really stopped playing the game either. I still play to this day, but I only play the weekends mostly now. There have been some dry periods between about 2005 and now that I didn't play for 3 - 6 months at a time, but I always return to the game.
 
The only games I recall keeping track of were EverQuest (over 1 year worth of hours) and Morrowind (~240 hours or so).
 
3200+ hrs on TF2 in seven years. None of it idling or trading. No, I'm not proud. Yes, I have many, many hats. :p
 
Not being a truly dedicated gamer, I'd say my 350+ hrs in Oblivion. I used to live in Oblivion for hours upon hours back when first graduated college. Ah, the memories.
 
It would probably have to be ArmA 2/3. I don't run ArmA 2 through Steam, so no count there, but it's gotta be 200-300+ hours...ArmA 3 says 125 hours.

133 hours in Payday 2, and somewhere around 150 hours in Skyrim I believe.

Back in the day I'm sure I put 500+ hours into Action! Quake 2.

Probably around 7500+ hours. Wouldn't be surprised if it was close to 15k hours. Took up half of my life.
 
900+ days WoW when I quit well over a year ago. So over 21000 hours. Sad Sad Sad.
I dont game anymore. I burnt out.
 
I had 2.2years /played in wow on my main when I quit back in the Lich King days (and most of it was Vanilla+BC hours). Quick calc puts that at 2.2 x 365 x 24 = 19272hrs
I've got at least 1000hrs in Path of Exile, post open beta, probably another 500 in closed.
750hrs on steam in BF: Bad Company 2
Several titles that are over 100hrs

And I dunno about everything else combined that I didn't track...but a lot.
 
Skyrim - over 400 hours between 3 play-throughs
Oblivion - even more time, but I didn't have a way to keep track of it at the time
Saints Row 2 & 3, over 300 hours each, but that game allows you to rack up money while AFK, so that number isn't actual play time.
 
Quit WoW a couple of years ago but I did a /played on all my toons and it came to 8600 hours or 360 days, almost a whole damn year of my life playing that game.

I thought that was bad but in this thread I stand in the shadow of giants.
 
Steam says Bad Company 2 at 98 hours... but I think that that's vastly over-reported.
Second is Borderlands 2 at 76, which I think is closer to accurate (2 full playthroughs + a couple of alts and some DLCs)


Of course, my time with Hack/Nethack wasn't tracked, and I would assume that that's more, given that started that when I was a kid and still go back to it occasionally.

I don't even wanna know the days I have wasted in WoW. But Ultima Online would be close .... I used to play that game in late middle school/highschool. Would play a solid 2-6 hrs a day.
 
at least 5000+ hours in EQ 1 back in the day. Nowadays if i get over 50 hours in a game over its lifetime im doing good. Hearthstone for example i guess, i have 106 hours in atm.
 
Fallout 3, 3000 hrs and counting...once I finish out the mod list for my Tale of Two Wastelands game. Didn't even think of WoW...geez, I have played this game since Vanilla! I don't want to know!
 
4+ years in Lineage 2( prolly 10,000+ hours)
Bf3- 250+ hours
bf4 - 175 hours
Terraria- 125 hours
 
Steam says 845 hours of CS:GO
Probably 2 times that in WoW
and 3 times that in cs 1.6
 
In Steam, Skyrim. I may have more on BF3, but I'm not going to log into Battlelog to find out.
 
When I was in college we used to play a full 4-cup circuit of Mario Kart 64 nearly every day for 3 years.
I'm not sure anything else would be in the same league as games like Street Fighter and Tekken got sequels every year or two. Mario Kart 64 had lasting power because there were no other options.
