Such adorable poses galore in this thread...cute.
Anyone have pics of a workspace or actually being used or not cleaned 5 mins ago?
Or just pics for home fashion, epeen and Home and Garden magazine? :)

lol... my pics are how I have my room all the time. I like things clean and in their place.

PS: Rikki - that DJ setup is off the hook. dayum.

This is where the Budzman operates.

Iv'e had that desk for like 25 years. Those are two 12" subs in the corner. I like my gaming nice and loud.

You guys have some awesome setups! Some of you make my office look like the back alley special :p

Quaddragon, that's badass. I'd love to game on a setup like that at least once before I die :D

Mine. If you're wondering about the tv, I just got it, but I don't like it, taking it back next week. So it's still got the plastic on it.

Quad - that's beautifully insane. do you laugh like a school girl when you walk into the room or has that worn off? ;)

Due to previous complaints I did no cleaning at all before taking this picture. I did remove the horrible molting atrocity that is my chair.

My computer, is very average (at least for HardOCP)

Technikal,

You realized you're on a forum full of people who spend 3 days re-sleeving a PCI-E cable?

But if you're into clutter-porn, here is my work bench:

I don't have any projects going right now, so it's kind of empty. But if you look closely, the 3 Battlefield 2 boxes have been sitting there since the end of December! Oh baby!

Current setup in the basement until I move into my own place. Just upgraded my 3 main monitors from U2410f to U2414h monitors with the 6mm bezels. So nice.

Ill try and Post a Better Pic tomorrow.

What desk is that, it's pretty cool. I've been killing myself trying to find a good corner desk under $300. The Ikea Gallant is not bad (and I've seen 2 on this thread I think), but it is $300 with no drawers or shelves which kinda sucks.

Built it myself out of MDF used Ikea Desk Legs.

Actually Not to hard to do with a Jigsaw.

Less then $20 for the Sheet of MDF, $5 x6 = $30 For the Legs, $5 for a can of Paint.

So like $55 for a Desk :)

A back alley special with an Embody! ;)

Since I sit for a living, I figured I'm investing in my health. That's my story and I'm sticking with it :p

Quartz-1, forgot to ask - I'm curious as to how you configured your Embody?

Oh no need to persuade me. I have an Aeron at home from back before the Embody was available. I went back to DWR a month or so back when they had the Herman Miller sale but decided against upgrading to the Embody at the time.

I just retired the chair at my home office desk (your typical leather office chair... looks nice, but not something I am overly fond of sitting in for extended hours), so we shall see if my conviction holds once the next sale comes around.

How do you mean? If you mean the components etc, I chose carpet rollers and a blue colour. If you mean how I shaped it to myself, then I have the seat fully extended (I'm 6'4"), the seat height set so that my feet are flat on the ground, and the armrests set so that the tops are level with the surface of my desk. I've also set it to have a little give in the back so I can lean back.

That's what I had before as well - a leather office chair from Staples or some such place. Only lasted 2 years before it started falling apart. You get what you paid for I suppose. Another chair that I would recommend is the Steelcase Leap. I bought both the Leap and the Embody for an extended in home test. The Leap is very comfortable as well. I kept the Embody just because it looks cooler :p

I meant to ask about what components you picked, i.e. which fabric, frame color, base etc. I got the carbon balance fabric, white frame, aluminum base, and translucent casters. I felt like the rhythm fabric is too thin and provides no cushion.
