Hit a Folding (Stanford) milestone? Post it here:

Just hit 3 million. Took forever to hit 1 million. Just in the last 3 weeks did 2 million on the new rig. Love my water cooled 7950's .

30M at last

Looks like I past the 300 million mark over the past couple of days! I know that isn't much compared to the heavy hitters these days, but I remember when it was a major accomplishment for the ENTIRE [H] to average three million per day. We've certainly come a long way...

Thanks & congrats Axdrenalin.
I still need 2 weeks to get there where you already had been.

19 of the top 20 ppd are > 1million ppd

(looking at you Axiomatic :))

Not really a milestone, but started folding again and added [H] for the team :) So starting at 0 but will get up there, just created 2 Centos VM's on our test-cluster to do some folding. Getting some use with that power and all that idle CPU power!

150k is great. Thanks for folding with [H].

Been folding for ... 10 years? I do find it amusing that there are those with daily totals greater than my weekly! Whew!

PPD may be dropping. The "stress testing" I've been doing at work (yes, boss approved - in fact, it was HIS idea) may becoming to an end on a couple machines. My be settling in around 100K PPD soon. All depends if we get other projects done and if other ones get in the way... heh... we're horrible that way.

'Sup decade buddy... My first WU was 04.04.04 so I'm coming up on a decade myself...

Broke 11 million over the weekend.

It took me a few years to hit three million at which point I stopped folding for a long time, getting the bug back back in May. What took me years to accomplish I did in two months this time around but it's still not enough. :D

I've just pulled the trigger on a 4P system to fold big, but my PPD won't be anywhere near some of the monsters in 33.

10 Million, on the same day we overtook default!

/high five!

All about the consistent folding. I think of the 10 years, I have maybe a total of 3 months that had no points. Started folding on a AMD 2500+ ... oh my, I just realized the number of CPU's I've gone through since then.... "Back in the day", WU's took days, if not a week. It was a couple years before I hit my first million. I had some help early on with some dual - dual core servers I helped "stress test". Had to set up an instance for each core and set the folding's affinity for each one (no SMP client back then).

I took some time off folding when my marriage ended - then got back into it as a way to help out again. Other than that, fold fold fold fold :) I would have no idea what my electric bill would be if I didn't fold (almost afraid to find out!)

this boost is only good until they change the BA requirements, then its back to SMP city for me. Then you'll pass me again.....

Just finished my first BigAdv project on my new old 4P system. Over the weekend, I broke 12 million points, 20,000 WUs and moved up a page on EOC to top 300 folders for [H].

I'm going to be sad when they change the core count requirements for BigAdv in April. It's going to knock my 4P box out and folding big is... satisfying.

Heh just started in December and already cracked 1 mil. Took me years to do that before. Finally got the 660 TI folding. Current project is to see if I can get the two 9800 GTXs I have floating around into a dedicated box.

Broke 20 million at some point. I haven't really been keeping up, just some old computers running in the server room. I might have to see how much crunching power I can scrounge up again though,

50mil! Sadly my 3way 4p setup will be coming down over the next week and my status for the future remains unsure. Hopefully I can continue to contribute in some way.

That doesn't sound good. What's happening?

It all comes down to power. I've been lucky enough up to this point that I've had somewhere I could keep these guys running 24/7 without worrying about the cost. Sadly this situation is no longer available and I'm not yet at a place (second kid is on the way) where I can afford to power them full time. The good news is they are going to a friend from my masters program. He is interested in folding and has some disposable income, so their use as folders shouldn't change.

Starting Folding in March of 2013 with Team 33! As I was new to folding I didn't fully understand how to get the latest software and just how hard it hits my folding box! But after a few parts change outs I'm running about 98k points per day (have seen as high as 105k.)

So as of today I have completed 1320 work units and 12.14 Million points!;)

I'm running a 980X CPU on an EVGA mobo, 6Gig of 1866 RAM, and a Powercolor HD7950 Boost video card.

Hope this helps find a cure and Team 33!
