Argh, want to order one SO BAD!
New house will be done in 1 week, need a good ladder for some planned projects!
But alas, spent about $10,000 in the last two weeks on appliances/furniture/random-bullshit-the-wife-wanted to spend any more money.
Damnit.

I've had this ladder for about 2 years now. Fantastic ladder but a tad heavy.

So basically you need a ladder. Or good luck standing on your new furniture to get shit done.

I have the 17 foot version of this. Really great ladder, easy to use and compact for storage.

Hrrm, been wanting to get a Little Giant and actually saw a good deal on one but passed on it a few months ago, this is tempting as hell even with my budget for the month already being shot because of last month.

My mom has one of these and I've used it a number of times. Definitely worth it IMO. It's easier to store and you can throw it in the back of an SUV.

Awesome ladder. My only complaint, minor at best, is that the steps are rather skinny, and if using barefoot or with thin shoes, it isn't very comfortable on the feet. The portability and storage capability of this thing is awesome.

Dammit! I just bought one at full price last weekend! LOL

This is a great ladder and I think 22' is the perfect size. It fits in the back of an SUV without going into the front seats, it's like a 10 foot step ladder, and obviously a 22' real ladder. Real easy to manipulate around, very sturdy. It is heavy - but that's good - you don't need a flimsy construction buckling parts of a telescoping ladder.

Fantastic ladder - you'd be a fool to buy anything else 22' and under.

I've got the 17ft version for my 1 bed condo with 15ft ceilings and it is fantastic! I can reach everywhere I need to and it stores easily in my coat closet. The perfect combination of usability and compactness where storage is a premium. I would not hesitate to recommend this ladder to anyone.

I have the little giant version of this ladder. It's an awesome type of ladder to have around when you need it.... very stable!

Wow, this is exactly what I need right now while I'm trying to hang lights on the third level of my house, which has very steep sides so I can't comfortably do it from sitting on the roof.

I'm going to Sam's after work today which is right beside Home Depot in my town... ugh, just checked and it says it's not in stock in my store . I'd have to drive the other direction for an hour to get to the next store. I may call and verify that it's actually out of stock. Every other store has 20+ in stock from what the site says . Just called, OOS. Oh well, hopefully this is still available for the next couple days.

I've got the same 17' version, Home Depot had it on clearance for like $50 a few years ago. One of the best purchases I've ever made.... holds my 350lb fatass with no sign of instability.

Thinking about grabbing the 22' one now.... we're going to be hanging Christmas lights this weekend......

thanks for the heads up Not_So_Hard, i'm in need of a ladder so this is perfect timing. i'll see if my store has one on the shelf and if not i'll order online.

congrats! we just finished having our house built in august. i feel your pain on the expensive ancillary things. my wife went ape shit on buying new furniture and appliances for the house.

Thanks! I've been looking at the Little Giant ladder as I've used it before but I wasn't willing to spend that much on it. This looks like a much better deal considering how many times I would actually need a ladder. I checked the local HD here and it shows plenty in stock. Now I need to measure my trunk space with rear seats folded down to see if I can fit this thing in the car. Sucks not having a truck sometimes.

I've had one of these for a while and love it. Now I can spread some DIY cheer this year. Thanks Not_So_Hard!

Closed, it's 5 foot 6.5 inches high, just under 27.5 inches wide at the base, 19 inches wide at the top, and 8 inches thick. Remember to use the coupon and order online for store pickup to save the extra $10. Rumor is today is the last day to use the coupon.

Edit: I just confirmed, the HOLIDAYTEN coupon does expire today.

I ordered for in-store pickup using the code. I just noticed in the email confirmation that the promotional discount isn't showing in the confirmation so it didn't take off the $10. I called them and the rep said to talk to the customer service when picking up the ladder as they've had this issue multiple times today. Since orders for in-store pickup are treated as in-store purchases he wasn't able to adjust for me. Sucks, whether that's true or not, who knows. I'll check with them when I go pick it up. $10 is still $10 but if I don't end up getting the discount, it was still a great price for the ladder.

Home Depot has one of the clunkiest websites I've ever seen. I try to check out, and I don't see anywhere to enter the promo code. Where do you enter the code? Thanks.

Edit: Nevermind. Found it. You have to click the gray box to get the boxholder for the promo code to show up.

In for 1. Thanks OP!

I picked up the 17' version at Lowes on black friday for $99. Haven't opened yet but considering my last long ladder (straight wood) i've busted through more rungs than I care to count (no injury but damnit if that doesn't scare the living crap out of me to suddenly drop a foot), and I broke my folding ladder by standing on the fold down tray more often than I should :D I needed a new ladder.

I was trying to burn time while out waiting for a phone call, decided to just browse through Lowes in the afternoon. Guy at the front door asked if I wanted to see a black friday flyer and I had completely forgotten it was black friday. Saw the price on the ladder and said I had to do it!

I will say though it does feel a bit heavy and bulky. But whatever I like the fact it can be quite compact.

Pffft, a normal ladder does just fine:

^ That's crazy.

I picked up the ladder from the store a few days ago. Didn't get the $10 discount. Apparently promotional codes used with online orders for in-store pickup are at the discretion of the store.
