Case has really nice cooling, if you don't use standard hdd cage. 180mm fan producing airflow through entire cpu+gpu chamber, it has relatively short distance to get out of the case through rear panel. Psu is also hidden, so if you want to make it look neat, no need to pay for expensive full modular, because you can't see power supply in this case anyway. There is interesting layout of this case, that has multiple advantages.

It isn't that old. It has a sata rom drive.

looks like a Core 2 Dell Optiplex or something similar, which was probably hot. Don't hook up ethernet or wifi to this, as most of these have a "Phone Home" rom chip on the motherboard once it's connected to the internet.

check no rom chip it had a intel pentium 4 at 3.00ghz in it upgrade it to a pentium D 3.00ghz
I dont think it was hot being its age and how damage the case was

Haha, soooo true. I went from a CM Stacker 810 (on wheels) to a Corsair 550D (not on wheels) and my LAN life has gotten MUCH easier. Just strap on my Gear Grip case carrier and away I go!

i have to admit i'm sort of unsure why anyone would go to the trouble of making a pretty nice rig with fancy sleeved cables and all then leave it to get that dusty....

meh...

so I live by the beach and it is what i like to refer to as "dusty as F***' here.. I have my pc cases up off the floor sitting on wood planks on this metro rack thing




for a bit i had my old case on the floor and i had to dust it monthly to keep it from getting like that corsair case.. even with filters.. raising em' up the floor has help ..honestly the upper case (my main rig .. ESXi server below) is the less dusty of the two..but the server get's less dusty being a bit over a foot off the floor...

I also found this freaking awesome looking Oreck XL airfilter thing at the thrift store ..for $10 it has been helping w/ dust also..

The version you have is one of their legacy cases (no longer in production). Though they still do produce rolling rack cases.

thanks, appreciate it. actually in the process of building myself a Galant Style Desk, as they are waaaaaaaay to expensive here in Germany
But the monitors are great, just purchased 3 Vesa Adapters to mount these. I will be posting pics as soon as the desk is complete and monitors are mounted.
