Any good HDD deals?

OK. So open it up gently, take it out of the case and use it as internal drive. I do it all the time. It's the same drive as what you get here:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822178338

just cheaper. And if it breaks, put it back in the case and warranty it.

If that isn't enough, go ahead and buy a more expensive version.

i done it before, the way they design these new external hard drives, its very difficult to open without some stupid tab breaking.

Samsung 840 Evo 500GB - $300
Samsung 840 Evo 250GB - $140

This is an Ebay store for a photography store. I didn't buy yet because it is a place I've never heard of. Do you think something like this would be trustworthy, or are these things as easy to counterfeit as the fake capacity USB drives that plague Ebay?

I don't know if I should jump on this or wait and see what Amazon/Newegg/Tiger has in the next few days.

SlickDeals link that has links for both sizes. View the sellers other items to see the ones that are left.

I got a 3TB Toshiba internal for $99 a couple weeks ago. It sounded like a good price to me at the time.
