Looking for a mATX x58/1366 board. Asus Rampage Gene would be first choice but will consider any others. Please PM what you have and how much you want.

** edit ** will consider any x58 board, not just mATX, if you have something gathering dust in the closet, PM me!

** Monday update **
The build is a gift for my nephew. The idea was to present him with a box of parts and then supervise while he assembles it, and then later show him how to o/c different components and how to test along the way. I wanted x58 because I already have a pile of parts from my old x58 system. It's a great plan, except my timing is utter crap for x58 because everyone seems to have 'xeon fever' :p

So long story short I'm not being nostalgic for x58, or itching to play with one of those cheap xeons, I just wanted to build my nephew a powerful o/c'able gaming rig for as little cost as possible. At a certain point it becomes more attractive (as well as money better spent) to just buy myself a new m/b and cpu to play with, and just give my nephew my beloved 2500k/z68.

Thanks again for looking.

This is not for my personal gain or profit - I promise you it's for a good cause.

ASUS Rampage Gene III user here!

Problem. If I sell it, I don't have a computer :)

ahh well.. maybe you wanna try some socket 2011 and this is just the nudge you needed!! :D

bump and thx for looking

I have a near new Asus Rampage II Gene X58 board from a review I did few years ago. I can send it to you for $200 plus shipping. Let me know, its pretty badass, all accessories and retail packaging is complete. heat under hsadjadi.

I have an EVGA x58 SLI MATX that I may be willing to part with. This board is a replacement to my Rampage Gene and was an awesome board. Looking to move to x79 so make me a real offer. I have everything it came with from the box to the backplate to the zip ties. In perfect working condition and looks new.

Rampage II or III gene was my ideal choice, unfortunately the ones I find are either beaten up and questionable, or too expensive, or even worse both...
$200 is beyond the budget for me - at that point my money is better spent upgrading my own setup and giving my nephew a z68/2500k instead.

Trey - PM me with your price, shipped to 77546

oh. and bump...
