I've got 18 Samsung HD204UI hard drives for sale. They're all the "original real" made in South Korea Samsung drives, bought around March 2011 and used ever since. I just upgraded the server to new drives, so I have a huge stack.

None of them have any bad sectors or signs of trouble. I personally upgraded them all with with Samsung's latest firmware when I bought them (google about F4EG if you're curious). They lived in a Norco 4220 rackmounted server with a bunch of extra A/C and fans and have been nicely taken care of. I had them 80% full of data and ran frequent ZFS scrubs with no errors, so I know that the drives are in good shape.

9 of the drives have warranties through April 2014, 9 of them through March 2014. No, you can't pick and choose which ones I send you, not that it really matters much.

If you want just one, shipping is $5.50 anywhere in the USA (priority mail). If you want more than one, give me your zip code and I'll calculate shipping (I'll use flat rate boxes, so you can get quite a few in a box).

General consensus is these Samsung drives are some of the best 2TB drives made, and my experience with these has backed it up.

Paypal accepted, I'll consider bitcoin too. I'm supersubparts on that auction site if you want to look up my feedback.

Wow. These are the exact drives I have in my NAS. These would be good for a hot swap for the RAID 5. Hmm. Tagged.
 
Out of curiosity for someone about to build a new server, what did you decide to be worthy replacements of these drives?
 
I bought 19 of the HGST 4TB coolspin drives - 3 year warranty and reasonably priced. I will see how they hold up for the next few years :)

All now sold except 3 I was holding for Khadgar, I'm not sure if he's serious or not. Will wait until tomorrow, then the last 3 will be available again.
