*Update*

Seems they may have replaced the promo code with a $15 gift card on GTA5 instead, in store only: http://toysrus.shoplocal.com/toysru...d-these-SUPER-DEALS-and-more-in-this-weeks-ad

Xbox360: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=18167046

PS3: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=23265256

Promo code: FRIENDS20 (DEAD 9/21)

Free shipping or pick-up.

The code is actually for 20% off your order, but I used it yesterday to get GTA5 for $52 after CA tax. Enter the code at check out. I'm not sure if you can use the promo code if you check out with PayPal (tried and didn't see a prompt/field to enter the promo).

I did the local pick-up option, and it took the employees at the Toys R Us in Alhambra, CA about 40 minutes to go back and pick up my game. Hopefully you guys have better luck with lazy employees at your locations.

Yeah this works for sure, wife broke down and couldnt wait. Better off just using the barcode coupon instore. Their online order system is horribly delayed.

I bit on this -- just saved a PDF of the coupon on my phone and it scanned in store no problem.

I also traded in a few old games - total out the door price of GTA5 for me? $24 :)

With PC release coming in late November/Early December and PS4 release at some point I'll wait.

Do you have a source for the PC release date or are you just making it up? The truth is that it hasn't been announced and probably won't come out until the second half of next year.

Thanks this is just what I was looking for!

Hopefully PC release really will be within this year, but I am not holding my breath. I suppose that might be a smart strategy to release during the Thanksgiving or Winter Steam sale, but then again I don't see how it's a smart strategy for pushing next-gen sales when the PC version is bound to be superior in graphics and modding.

There are rumors from a couple websites about it being around that time. Supposedly it's "leaked information" but with nothing to back it up, they are just rumors.

My game backlog is so long and time so limited lately I can definitely wait for the PC or PS4 release, even if it doesn't come until 2014.

ToysRUs does tradein?

Yup - just on software and the consoles themselves. I got almost 30 dollars for a handful of OLD titles like Burnout paradise, ghostbusters, Gta4 (own it on steam so why not sell it), Saints Row2. Some titles they are pretty generous with it seems. I got 10 dollars for Saints Row 2 , and 7 dollars for a few of the others.

Actually whenever the PC version IS released - I'll just trade GTA5 (360 back in) along with some extra controllers I don't use, all to gamestop, and probably only wind up paying 30 dollars or so for a PC copy. spent 24 on the console version so in the absolute long run I paid full price I was always willing to pay, and got to play now, and play later on my preferred system.

Yes I'm sure Rockstar is looking to the "winter steam sale" to PC-release the fastest selling videogame in history. Makes total sense.
