I like it overall. Feels nice in your hand. The DPI buttons on mine were not on it very well. The back one especially was flimsy as hell. Going to have to RMA it I guess. Maybe a second try will work out.

A newegg review stated the same. I wonder if the issue is wide spread or not. I was really tempted to buy one of these.

I bought one because I liked having all those thumb keys. I also like how the front six and rear six buttons are all separately contoured to make it easier to differentiate by feel. Normally I set the DPI to between 3,000 and 3,600 in the software and don't bother use the mouse keys to switch between modes.

However because of the way I tend to hold my mouse (with my fingers resting past the front edges of the left and right buttons and my little finger hanging off the far right shift key), I almost never use either of the buttons behind the scroll wheel, the shift key, or the hindmost three thumb keys.

For me, it is basically an 11 button plus scroll wheel.

I thought it only went up to 2500 dpi? What's the weight?

Things that prevent this from being awesome:
1) no tilt wheel
2) no hyperscroll
3) terrible polling rate
4) sensor acceleration
5) you know the microswitches are going to fail in a year because it's a Logitech

It is only supposed to go to 2500 DPI as listed on Logitech's site.
http://gaming.logitech.com/en-us/product/g602-wireless-gaming-mouse

It has a 500hz polling rate
I don't see where you're seeing sensor acceleration
"Upgraded primary mechanical microswitches are rated to a 20 million-click lifespan."

It is definitely a downgrade from the G700 as far as gaming specs go so I won't be getting one.

If it had the good mouse wheel it would be the perfect mouse to have at work.

Well that's what I get for commenting in a thread while tired. I thought this was asking about the G600 gaming mouse polling up to 1,000 and DPI of up to 8200.

1) 1000hz for gaming mice
2) Only the G400 has a sensor that does not accelerate during fast movements
3) Logitech has destroyed my confidence in their quality. I say bullshit to "20 million clicks"
4) oh man, I would love the hyperscroll on this mouse

i was just checking this out, i had the G500 before and i love the weights, they do help for me, and i love on the on mouse speed adjustment.. maybe i will stick with the G500s, too bad amazon only has it from on place fo $99!! wtf!!

Maybe check out the G700s

I just got my G602, but thus far I love the way it feels (a lot nicer to the touch compared to the G700). As for actual gaming, have not had a chance to yet, got it before I had to run to work. I did bring it with me and it is one of the nicest feeling mice I have ever use (better than the MX1000 and MX Performance). The for front buttons on the side are at the exact placement as they were on my G700 and its nice the have the extra 2 buttons behind them. I always had a problem with the 3 index finger buttons on the G700 (initially because they were broken, had to return that one). I wasn't a big fan of the multi, multi profiles on the G700, I killed most of those and set up 3 (standard windows use, MMO and FPS) and than ended up really only using 2 so they G602 is just windows use and gaming which is fine with me.

I've since tried another and it too had so so buttons for the DPI. I'm probably to picky about it. Well I know I"m to picky, but ya know for 80 or 90 bucks for a mouse I expect as close to perfect as possible. I'm using a Logitech G500s which has all nice solid buttons.

Was at Best Buy and they finally have some of their new shit on display, Razer keyboards, the logictech mechanical keyboard (g110 I think?), the g400, 500, and 700, but no 602, it was in the box but not on display.

They also got the roccat kone there but also in box.

Best Buy plz. Does only Logitech send these companies display models?
