Link, second page. Code 34$JBXXHJ?9XCP

Code should take 30% off all those monitors, like the U2711 for $524.

The 90 day warranty on the refurbs always makes me a bit uncomfortable. I wish Dell would include at least a year considering brand new ones have a 3 year warranty.

Couldn't pass this up >< I was about to pick up a Korean or Monoprice 27" for work.

I have ordered at least a half dozen "refurbished" monitors from Dell in the past couple of years for work or personal use. Every single one looks like it has never been used and comes with all of the accessories. I have yet to have any stuck or dead pixels.

And based off of what I've read in these forums and others this is the typical experience you will have with a Dell "refurbished" monitor. My guess is that most of their stock is customer returns with no problems that Dell can not re-sell as new. Each monitor is almost certainly tested before being re-sold, so the defect rate may be lower than new.

If anyone is in the market for a 27" monitor this is a great deal and the limited warranty should not impact your decision. If its got problems you likely will know within 90 seconds anyways.

I've asked tech support if these have 90 or 3 year warranty and they have said hey come with 3 year because of the computer code. It is best to double check if you want to be sure.

As for my experience, first monitor had backlight issues (this model) and I got a replacement in 2 days. Second one had a stuck pixel and I got a replacement in 2 days. 3rd one was a definite refurb, but no problems. They WILL tell you if the item itself does not come with accessories or not.

Trying to decide whether or not I should pick this up or go with a new korean 27" for $300 new. Opinions?

I went with this deal, if there is an issue out of the box with the monitor it will be much easier to send it back to dell vs one of the ebay sellers, plus this should still be one of the better panels.

If you want a warranty I bet square trade will give you one.

I am in the same boat. Need a monitor for work. I was debating getting a Korean. Figured this is better for the same reasons also if I ever decide I dont need it will be easier to flip AND height adjustable stand which the Korean ones do not have which to me is a pretty big deal.

Thanks and much hate to the op for posting the deal  ;)

I passed on the korean QNIX and bought this. Dell monitors rarely go on sale, especially this model. The cheaper ones are on sale much more often.

I paid ~450 with tax included, free shipping.

Damn wish I could spare the funds right now. So tempted to use the CC.

In for 3 :) hopefully they ship.

After selling one of my 30"s and never getting a third I was pretty tempted to add two more but the prices for used stuff seem to be stuck at $400 plus. I still might if the 27 dont live up to the hype.

I almost went for the korean stuff too but if you are not one of the lucky 80-90% you are pretty screwed, after reading the negative reviews, no thanks. Amazon seems to be the way to go to ensure the sellers honor their "pixel perfect" claim. Piece of mind is gonna cost you $50 plus per monitor though.

$350 for the korean version from amazon vs $450 from dell... I was gonna buy arms to pivot eventually so thats at least $30-40. Plus one regret with my 30"s was only dual dvi input.

The $100-70 premium is probably stretching it a little. I sold one of my 30" for pretty good money so hopefully these hold their value.

I am tempted to get some cheap 24's but not sure the dells are a good deal even with the discount. 24s are super cheap now. Can someone who knows more chime in on the 23- 24 market?

I'm a bit curious on how significant the cross-hatching issue is. Probably not a big deal if you are willing to do some exchanges I suppose. Any current users want to chime in on this?

I'm tempted to go for a U2412M for $207.20 after coupon... Is it worth it? Currently on an Asus VH222H-P or something like that..

I got my U2412Ms for $270 new each and haven't looked back since. I don't have an issue with the AG coating but apparently some do. Couldn't recommend these monitors enough.

Man,you guys are really killing my buzz with all this talk of cross hatching and shit.

Does anyone else have a problem with U713HMt being shipped out? This is ridiculous. I want my USB 3.0 ports! I sent them a quick e-mail last night, so let's see what they do!

Just got my U2713 in today... tested it out and the whole screen is grayscale with a yellow tint.

Anyone else get a good one? I don't think I'm going to bother with a replacement, it's going back.
