i7 4770k - $279.99, Combo Deal @ Microcenter

I do not need it but dang, I wish I had a microcenter around where I lived. The closest one to me is 192 miles away.
 
We used to have one in my area, and they closed it down. That's some BS. Next one is like 500 miles away :(

From NorCal too? I'm hoping that when I go visit my sister in SoCal I can scoop up a board and prcoessor while I'm down there.
 
I'm from Norcal too \sad panda. All these awesome CPU and Mobo combo prices make me depressed. Glad there are others that are enjoying it. :D
 
Make it a weekend trip for the family. Take em to Disneyland after you pick up your cpu/mobo combo. LOL Hell the drive down the PCH is nice enough as well if you've never done it..

I have a friend near a MC though, he's shipping me a combo. Just trying to decide which mobo I want. Leaning towards the Asrock Z87 Extreme6.
 
As mentioned in my post, it's possible to price match with a Best Buy that is in your area. It's free to try ;)

So the $280 comes with the motherboard or is that extra?
 
I picked up this deal on Saturday. It's pretty awesome. They take $70 off the CPU, $40 off the motherboard and $20 off the RAM when it's all bundled with a haswell. And there are plenty of great motherboards and RAM to choose from.

I compared it to newegg and amazon and at microcenter it was a total of $90 less for the 3 parts.
 
The nearest one to me is 50 miles away and I can't get there till the weekend...I'm hoping the prices are still good then and they still have stock.

I wouldnt worry. These prices are for always, they only get better. And microcenter always has plenty of stock on this stuff.

If you are really worried, go ahead and place an order online for store pickup and they will pull your parts and reserve them for you. You can even choose to pay in the store only after you pick up your stuff. If you never show to pick it up nothing happens, they just revmoe your order after a few days.
