After finishing Tomb Raider (PC) and playing BF3 and Farcry 3 I'd like to try some games not AAA, I've played Sleeping Dogs, Hitman, AssCreed III, Deus Ex, Skyrim, God of War, Arma 3 etc etc.

I want something like Divine Divinity 2; TDKS where it was not a huge release but made up for it in a good gaming experience.

Anyone got any suggestions? I'd prefer to be able to play it with a 360 controller on the couch but KB/M is fine too.

Risen 1.

Two Worlds 2 is similar to Divinity 2, but not quite as good. Much better than the first, however.

Dishonored, Legend of Grimrock, XCom: Enemy Unknown, and Mount and Blade might be right up your alley

Some shooters that I liked that go under the radar are Spec Ops the Line and Bulletstorm.

I agree with Bastion. Might as well get it with HB (and throw a little to charity!).

It would have been a AAA release 18 years ago.

Mount & Blade Warband is one of the best gaming experiences I've had, where as Duke Nukem Forever was one of the worst!

XCOM: Enemy Unknown and Dishonored were definitely both AAA games, dude. Still, good suggestions, but widely acclaimed games.

Farming Simulator 2013.

Fuck this game, seriously!
I got some fucking potatoes from my farm and have them in some damn trailer but do not know where the hell to take them!
I keep getting these phone calls for missions to do things but do not have the equipment, and can not make money since I don't know where to sell these damned potatoes, I have a field full of wheat but have no truck to put it in, WHAT THE FUCK???

I JUST WANT TO HAVE A PROFITABLE FARM GUYS, I AM GOING IN DEBT EVERY DAY I CAN'T SELL POTATOES AND WHEEEEATTTTT!!

Still thinking...

I wish I could Recommend E.Y.E which I recently finished but I don't feel like the Developers fleshed it out as much as they could of so it's a game with more good ideas than substance. I still rank it as a quality game but its very low on the list. Definitely only a recommend for people with a lot of patience.

Lol. You should watch some of docm77's YouTube LPs on this game. He's been playing it for a long time now. I agree that the game could use a much better tutorial for which places are what around the town, but the equipment is fairly well detailed in the tutorials that are in the game.

You guys thought I was joking about this game, but I wasn't. It's actually pretty fun, though I would classify it as "ultra-casual". It's pretty slow-going but it's calming in a way.

If anyone's looking in the simulator category, seriously, check out Euro Truck Simulator 2. SCS has come a long way since their 18 WoS days.

If you're a fan of Neverwinter nights, you'd like Drakensang:River of Time. I had a lot of fun with it. You also might want to give Morrowind another go with the latest Graphics Overhaul mod pack. Really brings it up to par with current gen graphics.

And another vote for STALKER.

Right forgot Orc's must Die. Definitely one of the best games of that year not the best.

I really liked Saints Row 3. I haven't laughed while playing a game like that in a while - it's hilarious. Controls are tight, it looks nice, and can be played in small amounts of time if needed.

Cave Story+ (not sure if the original was AAA, but the re-release on PC is fantastic)
Trine / Trine 2 + Goblin Menace DLC
Bastion
Gianna Sisters

How have we gotten this far into this thread without a mention of FTL (or maybe I just didn't read carefully enough. But, FTL is the most subtly addicting game I've played in a long time.

As someone mentioned previously, FTL is a highly addictive game.
