My keyboard is off the table as I'm currently doing homework with my laptop. My battle station is a bit messy :(

coolhandm3, you have the nicest setup I have seen in a while. That TV looks great like that. Also, do you have any more pictures of the case?

Thanks for the kind words!

Here are a couple of crummy pics of the case, it's a Falcon Northwest Mach V case made by Silverstone that I had painted Lamborghini grigio telesto by Porsche concourse paint shop. Case has a real lambo matte black bull emblem from the sv on the front door.Water cooled rampage black motherboard, i7 980x etc..

Love that simple setup, awesome work with de-bezeling that TV, looks great. What desk/table are you using?

Its a Samsung 32d5000 tv (32 inch, 31.5 viewable) that I debezzled and had the metal frame powder coated matte black just like I did with the interior of the case. I chose this particular tv because it has less then one frame of input lag and can do the correct 4:4:4 chroma with the hdmi input 1 labeled pc. It also has the ultra clear panel so it looks crazy clear and excellent blacks :)

I have the tv suspended in the air by the ergotron MX arm.

Table is 73x39 so the tv is about 3 feet away which is perfect distance for a 31.5 inch at 1080 :)

What kind of case is that?

cool~

is that a numerar desk?

Its an Ikea solid oak butcher block, its 1 and 1/2 thick by 73x39

Ahhhh yes, figured it was an Ikea Butcher block. I'll be doing that for my next desk, love having a large deep desk.

Ikea Butcher Block, FTW! I just replaced my Galant desk with it. I used a pair of heavy duty steel sawhorses instead of standard legs.

I'm picking up another butcher block (Ikea) and pair of sawhorses (Home Depot), this coming weekend, to make a big L desk out of the whole setup. Will post pics when it's all put together.

Not too sure if I have posted this one before, poor picture as don't know where the SLR is at the moment

I look forward to seeing the results!

Here is my work and home setup:

Desk is custom made and also has the ability to go down to 24" and upto 4ft tall. Fully motorized

Left side:
2ea 21" Acer LCDs (P216H, P215H) (Mounted on crappy mount system, but it works)
Dell D630 Laptop, Docking Station

Right Side:
2ea 24" Gateway Monitors (1080i) (Mounted on Workrite system)
Custom built Xeon Quad Core (I7) connected to left 24" (Antec 300 case)
Custom built I7-920 connected to Right 24" (Antec 900 case)

Over the next week I am replacing the 24" with Asus 23" LED thin monitors, than the 24" will be replacing the 21"s for my work setup.
The 21"s will be moved to the Den and the kids computer

Total plan is to move the monitors to wall mounts to free up the desk space. Clean up all of the wiring and mount both PC's under the desk (to take full advantage of the motorization).

Thanks

23" Viewsonic surrounded by 24" Acers. Not great specs, but that is an original Jerker desk still in action.

CoolHandsM3, amazing setup -- I'm inspired! Intrigued by the powder coating process for the metal frame of the monitor. I don't know much about it, but believe that the process involved baking the coating at very high temperatures. How exactly did you do that (can the entire monitor sustain those temps or did you have to somehow detach the metal frame?) Did you do it at a shop or DIY?

Also, I think that particular model of monitor is UK only? Do you know the equivalent in US?

Thanks for sharing!

What are you using the 9" display for out of interest?

I'm using it to display graphic card information while gaming. It makes it easier to glance down instead of turning my head.
Still trying to fix my SLI issue so I haven't used it all that much.
