Newegg is now taking pre-orders for ASUS Titan

They only let you get 1 !!!!! I guess i gotta create accounts for various family members to get 3 of them.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. There's going to be plenty of supply on release day in my opinion.

Looks like retailers are trying to gauge interest with pre-orders.
I don't blame them. Why order 1500 when you may only sell 800 the first few weeks.

Don't want extra stock of $1000 cards laying around.

World Exclusive you might be right!!! Im gonna wait it out and sell 2 of my 3 7970s and 2 of my 3 6970s hold onto the money and then try to get my 3!

I think Nvidia priced this too high - still not sold out, the GTX680s were gone in like an hour when they first debuted, and on top of that this is supposedly a limited card.

Nvidia debunked the limited card rumor. It will be available just like the 690 was, a little short at first, but better stock over time.

Thanks!

I am all set for the Titan launch!

Price Alert at $800? We are a year after the GTX680 and they are wanting a $500 premium over it. Its absurd and anyone supporting this is retarded.

This card should be priced at $600 or less (and even compared the the market a couple years ago, thats high).

Unless AMD pulls magical fairy dust out of their ass and puts out a beast of a card that can topple it, I don't see the price dropping anytime soon :/ To be honest I have no plans on getting the Titan anyway, I'll wait to see what 2014 brings.

The market says how much a card should be priced at. Simple as that. The only input you have is to either pay the price or don't. If enough people feel like you and don't buy it then the price MIGHT go down. If enough people do buy it the price will stay where it is. Nvidia doesn't owe you a cheaper card.

This.

There will be plenty of supply on the most overpriced video card ever released. Best to wait this one out until they start dropping prices to get people to actually buy the card. Right now there is not much interest because it performed nowhere near what was expected for the $1000 retail.

Yup. Have a feeling it'll drop to $800 or so even without AMD having an answer, once Nvidia clears out the initial rush of people willing to drop $1k on it. I have no doubt they'd still be making a hefty profit at that price...

I just upgraded my entire systems (mobo / cpu / video / 500gb ssd) for less than $1000. It is just a hard pill to swallow.

Whoa, those are the superclocked and superclocked signature versions. Didn't know EVGA had those available yet.

Still in stock how is this possible. My order is still in the verification stage.

Ya still in stock. I think the demand for ~$1K+ video cards will dry up pretty quick.

Ditto... Nvidia's just pushing as many cards as they can at $1k. Once demand drys up, I'm expecting the price to drop. This card will sell exponentially better at $7-800

Eh, I'll get one when people sell them for $500 in 8 months when the GTX 760 Ti beats it for $250... :p

Yeah, price on the Titanic is going to drop in under 2 months I expect. Might as well wait and save yourself hundreds of dollars.
