Best use of Express Card ports

I have a work laptop now(Dell E5430) I've never had a expresscard slot and was wondering what would be the best use of it?

Nah I dont have desk space at work and I do have a desktop computer I use for gaming.

I already have usb 3.0 ports on this laptop. This laptop has the basics covered.

I was thinking of maybe a EC ssd drive maybe?
