Pay with a master card, and spend $100 or more for $50 off.

Also, 10% off open box items.

Might be able to combine them. Says on the open box not combinable with other offers, however if you cut it at the bottom line, it doesnt say that down there. So Id take the item up to the register, have them scan the coupon, then give the $50 off one.

If that works, my store has some pretty good deals. Such as an LG 27in 1080P monitor for $125 with vesa mounting, an ASUS A8-4500M laptop for less then $230, or a 14in ASUS pentium B970 laptop for $150.

I picked up a razer blackwidow 2013 ultimate for 75.26 out the door with the coupon, felt pretty happy with the deal. I think its today only though, according to the updated post on the best buy forums.

how do you like that?
im thinking about getting it also

bought amazon giftcard with it

is that coupon good a number of times or does the code change each time?

Doesnt say one per person or anything of the like.

Says its good until 1/27/13 for $50, 2/2/13 for the 10%.

I have only had it hooked up for about an hour now, and so far I like it. Its really very noisy to type on but has a very nice key feel. In my opinion it also looks very nice. It's my first mechanical since an old IBM keyboard so I am sure I just need to get used to it :D

got the seagate 3TB USB3 backup plus for 96 out the door. Not a bad deal for a usb3 external with 3tb now days...

they revised it--look on slick deals

Link? I see,
Best Buy [Store Locator] is offering a $50 Off Your In-Store Purchase of $100 or more on select purchases when you pay with your MasterCard via Printable Coupon valid through January 27. Please refer to the forum thread for any additional details. Thanks getdealsonline

Note, refer to offer for details and exclusions.

It's no longer valid unless you're PST and can get to a store before it closes. Once it got in the wrong hands they revised it, added a bunch of exclusions, and said they would only honor it today/tonight.

http://forums.bestbuy.com/t5/Best-B...asterCard-Coupon-Correction/m-p/652207#M84766

The promotion is valid for TODAY ONLY, January 21, 2013.
The offer is valid on a single, regular priced item purchase of $100 or more.
iTunes, Amazon and other gift cards are excluded.
Limit 1 offer per coupon, per household.
See below for full list of conditions and exclusions:

I went in at 8:30 with the old coupon and didnt have any issues with it... no one looked twice

Time to go get some car speakers! ...hope they have them in stock. Not valid on any online purchases for store pickup.

picked up a G510 for $49.99 + tax. had to (politely) ask the person @ the register and the manager to consider making an "exception" and applying the coupon since the G510 was $99.99.

got the Toshiba 3TB External for 70 bucks...

peeps over at slickdeals...are the ones who ruined it...basically buying gift cards in massive quantites...like in sums of $1000+..thats when BB had to go back and revise the coupon and change all the terms and the ending time. making it a oneday deal only.

oh well..got mine.

Its good till the 27th..

They have changed it yet again.

Initially they tried to claim there many errors, so they made it good for today only. They also changed the item quantity and the exclusions.

They're taking heat so they've "corrected" it so it once again goes thru the 27th. Also, some stores are not honoring the coupon at all.

Where are you seeing the second correction? That BB forum post, along with everyone on SD, is saying the deal is officially dead.

I'd like to think I'm halfway reasonable, but this is some bullshit on BB's part. This clearly was not an erroneous mistake akin to offering an iPad for $30 or anything like that. It was on their website for most of the day and thousands of customers got in on it. Even if a few bad apples were grabbing $5k in gift cards, just close that loophole. Changing the expiration date should be illegal and I hope they get slammed with a class-action if the 1/21 expiration stands.

Well I just looked again and it seems you're right. I read on another forum that it was revised to remain valid through the original date, but with the new exclusions and 1 item restriction. I also clicked a link to a Best Buy employee posting "corrections" that it was to be allowed beyond today.

So either they've continued to edit the corrections, or I'm crazy along with at least one other person.

But yeah, they deserve a lawsuit.

They deserve a lawsuit?...For what?

Geeze. Take advantage of the deal. If you missed out, you missed out. Obviously they made a mistake not thinking this through, businesses make mistakes. They still honored it for almost all the people that were going in that day. They could have just taken it completely down by noon, but they didn't.

If this was your business, and people were using a coupon that you put out that that was costing you ALOT of money...would you not take it down? Should you be sued for taking a coupon down to YOUR OWN business?

"But they take advantage of us with those cable prices"

GUESS WHAT? DONT SHOP THERE....Idiots.

They obviously just did this to get people into stores, and some stores never did honor it. Others made it painful for people before they changed the terms.

Think about it. They had corrections up on a forum, but were still hosting the original unmodified coupon in their website. No, I don't believe that they just happened to make a whole slew of oopsies on the same deal. Also, you mentioned that they "took the coupon down". No, they still have not done this.

And no, this doesn't affect me in the slightest. I don't shop there, even with deals like this.

God damn scum of the earth slick dealers. They are why we can't have nice things.

I got in on this deal and purchased some Galaxy Note 2 accessories before they added the additional exclusions. The coupon didn't actually apply, but the operations manager was nice enough to manually take off $50. I attempted to pick up a R.A.T.3 on it as well, but they got me on the "gaming hardware" exclusion. Still was a heck of a deal though.

damn it, shame i missed this!
and Bowhuntr11 is right. the idea of a lawsuit over this is ridiculous. if you got in on the deal good for you, if not you've lost nothing.

shot down at staples and office depot. all they could see was MASTERCARD all over the place and said it wasn't a BB deal. i did point out that mastercard was in no way, shape, or form part of the deal but they didn't budge.

oh well.

It's false advertising. Why are you so sympathetic to a huge corporation that probably has dozens of employees whose job specifically centers on stuff like this? Like I said, I'm reasonable. If it were an egregious pricing mistake that snuck onto their website for 10 minutes and was then taken down, I wouldn't be here complaining about it. But that's the only time I'm sympathetic -- legitimate typos/errors that are corrected immediately on discovery (for a company the size of BB, I'd say this means corrected within an hour of appearing).

This whole business of running a legit promotion to stir up a feeding frenzy, only to yank it prematurely, should have consequences. If it doesn't have consequences, then where's the incentive for retailers not to do this stuff intentionally on the regular? The coupon had specific, clear terms that included an end date of 1/27. I'm sure thousands of people who printed the coupon yesterday never bothered to check back and will stop by after work today, only to be given the run-around. Absolutely wrong.

If you agree that the 1/27 end date was not a "typo," but rather the end date they originally intended, I don't see any merit to your argument.

Sorry, but when a national chain decides to draw up a full-page PDF coupon, they can think through the financial implications before hitting "Save" (nevermind publishing to web and emailing links to customers).

Well...I am not really going to get in an argument with ya. This feels like it is just going to turn into one of those political "The man is bringing me down"...and I don't feel like having that argument today. So I will let ya win this one! :)

I dunno, no offense but, I don't think you're letting him win. It is a very strong argument.

I went through this with Sears a year ago. They advertised "30% off tool storage $100 or more" Then they told me the tool box I wanted wasn't included. I asked them to show me where the exclusion was stipulated. The couldn't but, still would not honor their marketing. The ad stayed up the whole week. I contacted the BBB, filed a claim and THEN they honored it!

What do you mean? I am just saying that since I have no response? Lol ok then :)

Cannot believe the SDers abusing this to buy gift cards over and over and over. I wanted to get some Blu-Ray TV shows I don't have yet...guess I won't be doing that. Thanks SD asshats!

SD idiots always ruin shit for normal people. Buncha selfish cheap assholes over there.

so is it official....the coupon does not work?

Has anyone else tried? I may try tomorrow just for laughs...
