The OFFICIAL post pics of your SFF thread...

You better post more pictures when you are done. It looks like you've done an awesome job.

Thanks, that means a lot. I'm on a very tight budget now that I'm playing stay at home dad so I'm working with what I have to fuel my hobby. I will post plenty of pictures to come when I get the water in, also have a couple more ideas for it to really make it a "mod" rather than just a theme.

Intel i3 2100
Gigabyte Z77 ITX
Corsair 8gb
Crucial M4 64GB SSD
Western Digital 1tb Black
Zotac 560ti
Silverstone 450W SFX

Danger Den Lan Tower 450W wrapped in Di-Noc

This build is still not complete. Going to run a full loop in it and waiting for a bracket that will mount my HDD and SSD vertically to make room for the 240 rad.

Yea really nice work, especially given your budget situation. Plus you're adding water!? Kudos!
Is the whole case custom panels? Looks like they're cut by CNC?

Hey sorry for the late response. It's a Danger Den case so yeah they're all CNC cut. My HDD bracket is coming in a couple days then I have to bend it. After that I can get to work on water.

I like what you've done with this build. I've had my eye on that case for a while, any regrets/additional thoughts after building in one? Also, given the smaller size of the front fans, are they very loud?

fans, even on HIGH settings ( the case has a controller for the 3 onboard fans) are quiet.
yhey did a decent job on the fans, probably not sleeve bearing. OR a very good sleeve bearing...

I regret only that the memories get a little covered by the HDDs. Cant use ultramega heatsinks or ram coolers, and I have a Arctic PWM TURBO II around here....

no big deals at the end, the case delivers. WIth the right mobo, you can get almost ANY cooler on it.

Decided I wasn't particularly impressed with the performance oh just the A10 alone, though admittedly I've found that the x75 chipset isn't exactly the best match for it. May pick up an A8 Trinity to throw in instead...

That's wild dude! Good work.

Changed the cooler over in mine from a H80 to a Noctua NH-C12P SE14. So much quieter, that H80 was really getting on my nerves. So glad it's out. The Noctua is a great fit for my setup, cpu runs a couple of degrees warmer, but nothing major. Couldn't be happier.

My first SFF build for my brother. I'm rather excited about building another for myself.

Parts: AsRock Z77E-ITX mobo, Intel i5-3470 CPU, 16GB Corsair Vengeance RAM, EVGA 660 SC 2GB videocard, 64GB Crucial SSD, 1TB Seagate Barracuda HDD, Seasonic G-550 power supply, Cooler Master 120 Elite case.

Nice and compact. Especially compared to my Cooler Master Stacker 830.

A tight fit but it actually stays rather cool. Even while gaming. A Corsair SP120 Quiet fan will help blow heat away.

MiniITXBuild2_zps9dd9eaff.jpg

The EVGA 660 SC runs the latest games at 1080p with ease. I like the design of these cards. Just seems classy and modern.

The right side is not that bad. Cable management was something I wanted to do but in the end, I figured this was good enough given the limited space.

MiniITXBuild4_zpsca8408f1.jpg

Having no optical bay really helped with the extra slack from the power supply. The Seasonic G-550 worked rather well since overall the cables were fairly short.

Just another water cooled FT03 with SLI 670s.
Be gentle, my first project in 6 years. First one since my spine was put back together lol

I'm loving the blue scheme.
That said, I'm confused. In these pictures, it looks like the GPU is too long for the case. (especially HERE)
Second, I'm not seeing any intakes on the GPU side of the case, how does it breathe? Seems like it would sit there recycling hot air.

Yes, you are quite confused. This an open air style case (or test bench, whatever). The only thing actually inside that box is the PSU, storage and an ODD.

You are now required to change your "I'm Smarter Than you" title to something else...

;)

AH, now those mobo standoffs make more sense. Interesting. Never heard of that case/bench/thing before. Thanks for posting it!

And being smarter doesn't necessarily mean I know more. The true genius knows when to ask! :D

Set out to have a cool, quiet system, without having to put any radiators outside the case. Current setup can't run SLI, but can adapt the cooling slightly and move the radiator out to fit another card if needed.

Just finished my build, here are some specs and pics:

Hardware:
FT03B
Asus Rampage Formula IV Gene
Intel 4930K
Gskill 32gb RipJaws Z PC2133
Corsair AX860
EVGA 780 GTX TI SC
Samsung EVO 250GB
Hitachi 3TB 7200rpm

Cooling:
Swiftech Apogee Drive II (Disconnected as it is too loud, may eventually change this out for different block)
XSPC Raystorm GPU Block
MCP35x Pump (Primary Pump)
Alphacool ST30 280mm (Cougar 140mm fans)
Alphacool UT60 120mm (2x GT AP-15 fans)
Alphacool ST30 240mm (2x Slim Phoyba fans)
XSPC EX120mm (Slim Phyoba Fan)
EK and XSPC compression fittings

Overclock and temps:

CPU: 4.6ghz stable at 1.38v (temps idle around 30c, 75c max load)
GPU: Have not overclocked over the factory standard, temps are 27c idle, 47c max load

System is dead silent at idle with all fans and pump controlled by motherboard. Loudest component is the Hitachi hard drive under normal basic use

All case cutting for radiator and Lexan window was done by Jason at waterjetnj.com in NJ] He did an amazing job making sure everything lined up perfectly and was very clean. If anyone wants the window or any FT03 case cutting, he has my drawing saved, so it will be very easy.

Not the best pics, but just took some for now with my phone:

thats a crazy compact powerhouse lol..
wish i had the skills to mod like that

Just built this the other day, specs in signature. Might upgrade to 780ti via EVGA step up within a few months.

Nice ^^ I have a pretty similar build, just no Titan :p

Which AIO is that?

Sorry for the late reply, its Corsair h100.

I need to find a way to mount 4 SSD's cleaner. I would like to remove the drive cage on the bottom.
