1.Some Sonic games are really good and some are not. As far as the bundle they have goes: Adventure 2 is good only if you have either played it before on the Dreamcast or can look at it and see why people really liked it in it's time. Nothing about it has aged well.
Battle is a DLC pack for Adventure 2.
Sonic 4 Episode 1 I haven't played but a lot of people don't like it. I dunno. It's cheap.
Episode 2 peopled seemed to like a lot more.
If you already own Generations do not buy the pack, you would be spending $11 extra.

2. I've heard good things and it looks neat.

3. Don't bother with the pack just get GalCiv2. GalCiv1 isn't a bad game but the sequel is better in every way.

4. Great game. Long, mature, good story, good characters, etc. Highly recommended,

5. AC2 is a great game. It is a vast improvement on the original game. Brotherhood is also pretty good. It's pretty much just like AC2 in terms of gameplay but the story is interesting and it is a good continuation.

I did not like Witcher 2 but I am a fan of the Mass Effect and Elder Scroll series.
While Assassin Creed 2 is an improvement from the original game, it is still not a very good game and a relatively average console port.

thanks for the advice, very helpful. cheers!

Witcher 2 finally on sale at a great price. In41.
Skyrim is still not where I want it.
Witcher 2 was that price back in November too because that is when I picked it up. I fired it up and honestly I think the game looks sort of crappy considering all the hype it had for being great looking. I have not really had a chance to play it though as its way down on my backlog.

How's game itself? I didn't buy it for graphics.
For $7.50 its a deal. I'm not going to judge it like a $60 game.

The game looks great and plays great. I was pretty drawn in and only slightly disappointed by the final act. It's been a while but I remember feeling like the end came too soon. Like the final parts were just too short, as if they spent all their time developing the earlier areas and parts of the game and sort of threw together the last bit.

like I said, I have not really had a chance to play it. I bought it for the 360 too since I found it for $9.99. on the 360 it looks great and in some ways look better than pc version. yeah i know graphics dont mean much to some people but again this game had a lot of hype and will make any single gpu chug on ultra at times even without ubersampling. I will probably end up playing on the 360 and just using the pc version for gpu testing and comparisons.

^ I wouldn't recommend getting A-10 thru Steam...the Steam version doesn't really get the support the standalone version gets.

Well, you can always buy a copy on Steam at that discounted price, and use that key for the DCS world version.

I can't remember exactly how it works for the DRM thing because you need to activate it on your PC, but I'm sure there's a guide somewhere at their site. I manage to install my A-10 module in DCS world without issue with the DRM activation.

Agree with everything said here. There is also an HD texture pack that doesn't require hardly any extra power and makes the game look 100x better. The old download link doesn't work, but I still have a archive of it if anyone needs/wants it for GCII.

Many excellent Galactic Civilizations II mods can be found here.

This includes

The High-Resolution Graphics Mod v1.2 for Dark Avatar
The High Resolution Graphics Mod V2.0 for Twilight of the Arnor

and many others such as

Ultimate FX Mod for Twilight of the Arnor

Out of curiosity in what possible way can the 360 version look better than the PC version?

Don't buy the Far Cry pack folks. Buying the games individually saves you money. Actually, just buy 3 or 3 and 1. Skip 2 and save yourself $2.49

It's not. The lighting is different (not "better") because CDPR had to completely re-do it so it would run at an acceptable framerate on the 360, but in all other aspects the PC version is flat-out superior.

I don't know what that guy is talking about either because TW2 is probably still the best looking game on PC.

Don't buy 3 even it's out there cheaper. $28.99

Most of those FC3 deals aren't Steam activated though... not really a problem but it does matter to some people.

Well, I finally got the Far Cry 3 sale that I've been waiting for all sale long. Unfortunately, it's still $38....Looks like I'll be waiting a while longer.

Interesting. Steam has been having a ton of problems lately with the packs costing more than buying the products individually. Steam needs to have somebody checking their pricing, because they are obviously oblivious to these mistakes or think people won't notice them.
