Best IE Hater Ad Ever

IE 10 is pretty sweet... *ducks and runs for cover*

I like the new microsoft ads. They're better than boring. Props to the marketing team that did this.

Haha some of those tweets were funny, buys and donates kittens to kids!

IE10 is OK, doesn't mean I'm going to stop using Chrome. Hats off to the ad though and one of my favorite mice from back in the day.

IE's actually been quite good since 9. Firefox is still the better customizable browser, but it's still got stability issues I never experience with the latest IE.

Ha. I still use one of those mice.

Anyway.........humorous ad.:p

Does anyone know if IE10 auto syncs bookmarks on Windows 8? I've been too lazy to check. Surprisingly this is about the only thing keeping me on Chrome.

Well played indeed!

I normally use Chrome and my wife uses IE so that way we can both keep our Yahoo mail and whatever open at the same time. I started accidentally using IE and didn't realize it for a while.

Too bad we're stuck on IE8 at work!

The first step to recovery is to admit you have a problem. I use Chrome, it's not like I hate IE just because I hate IE, it has been a standards dodging incompatible pain in the ass for years. Nice commercial.

IE10 is better than the older versions but it isn't the better browser. Frankly I take anything that comes from the Gawker network with a grain of salt.

I've been using Chrome for about 2 years now and as a web developer I cannot see myself ever reverting back to IE.

I've really enjoyed IE 9. It's a little thing, but the ability to pin websites to the task bar is fantastic on an HTPC. I can launch netflix, hulu, etc, like they are their own program. Chrome may still be better, but I've found firefox to feel clunky and old fashioned for a while.

Yes for windows 8 you can sync bookmarks to your microsoft account, just like you can sync rest of settings. You can also use skydrive/any other cloud service to sync bookmarks because you can change where the bookmark/favorites folder is located for ie.

I work in an environment with many PC's. It it not practical to manage non-IE browsers (updates and such) so I try to stick to IE as much as possible. In some scenarios on our XP machines, IE8 is at a point now where sites are starting to use standards that it doesn't support.

If Microsoft would of put as much love into IE6-8 as they have 9 and 10, it wouldn't have the reputation it has.

Thought the ad was pretty good. :)

Been back to IE since 9. Used Chrome when my only choice at the time was with IE8. Haven't extensively used 10 yet.

Internet Explorer. Lack of plugins that don't suck balls.
IE 10 sucks even worse in Metro with no support for plugins such as java. Hate IE with a passion.

Well played, sir. Good show, good show.... but does it run greasemonkey (crysis)?

This is where I'm at too. It's both great supporting one browser and terribly evil in that we have to lock people into it. I hate being in that position.

Firefox has really fallen over time, I really only use opera because i can strip down the UI to just want i want, so i maximize viewing space. IE is really just a close 2nd to chrome in areas like, perception of speed, stability and security.

Eh... IE 10 is OK. Got nothing against it, and use it as my primary browser because it was already installed with my now Windows 8 machine. However, I keep Chrome installed, just in case a webpage goes all wonkey, and I want to confirm it's the browser at fault, and not the site.

Besides, as a web/software developer, I find that I have to install IE, Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Opera on my workstation, just to make sure my web pages work in all browsers.

I feel like it's good enough, the same way Safari 6 is now good enough. Realistically, it's good enough for the majority of users. If you really need that extra bit, then you'll download something else.

Holy crap Microsoft actually hired a decent ad agency.

There is hope after all!!!!

One of the issues IE9 and 10 run into now of days is that is follows standards better but websites don't update their user-strings and teats the new IE like the old IE.

Good ad. Improving browser.

Still using Chrome for the near future, even though it has plenty of annoying "features".
