Intel core i5 2500K $99 [MicroCenter]

I will be going to micro-center today to pick up a i3 3225. if any one in this thread would like for me to pick up the i5 2500K for them and they will cover the price + tax + s/h - send me a pm.
 
I'm going to be visiting microcenter tomorrow morning. If anyone wants me to pick one up for them, you can pm me too.

Total price is probably going to be <$120 shipped ($99.99 + $7 tax + ~$10 shipping)

That is insane. So tempted...

Have to pickup within 3 days though. Not sure I can make it. Annoying.

Just curious, why are you willing to pay more for the i3 instead of getting the i5? Power savings?
 
The nearest Microcenters are in Chicago...and I've got the flu...and it's freezing outside...and I'm still fucking tempted to drive my ass down there for this.

Pretty sweet deal - you can push those guys a long way. If I didn't pull the trigger on my 3770K last year I'd be on this in a second.
 
Wish they'd fricking reopen a Silicon Valley/SF Bay area store already, they've had nearly 6 months since they couldn't "renegotiate" their rent contract, there's gotta be some other warehouse location they can get.
 
Even though I hate ASROCK after my last linux experience with them, I wonder if this proc + asrock extrem4 gen3 would be a good replacement for my 1090T in gaming...? otd $240 + tax. Video card is a 6850 1GB

If anyone picks up an extra one would be more than happy to buy it from them, was going to build my brother a budget i3 gaming rig, but this blows that away.

Really have no use for this other than replacing my 1366 file server. I want it so bad but trying so hard not to needlessly spend money lol.

Buy it today for pickup. They hold the order for 3 days.

I would expect the CPU to be sold out by the end of today if not earlier seeing how much attention the deal is getting elsewhere.
