Lego Lord of the Rings 25% off, steam activation

greenmangaming is awesome imo. Always 20-30% off on most games.
 
I've played all the Lego games so far and have been NOT disappointed by any of them yet!

im guessing thats "have not" because these games are awesome! very fun to play with your kids or girlfriend that arent really into gaming. you can also play with 2 xbox controllers very easily which makes it easier for non-gamers as well. definitely buying this when i get home, thanks!
 
I was looking forward to it until they said that the voice work for hte characters is merely lifted from the films and not actually recorded for the game or anything. Kind of defeats the point and humor of lego games imo.

meh, normally the "dialogue" is just mumbling and grunts, so its not like they can really move backwards from that.

Except the mumbling and grunts and facial expressions and etc... was actually part of the humor of Lego games. Having voice acting meh..

ok so there's some work needed, but I'm not a writer, someone with writing skills could pull that off ;)
 
They delayed the game on it's release date? What kind of bollocks is that?
 
Well finding a release date nowadays is like pulling teeth it seems, one site says the same date that the hand helds were release, another says the same as the consoles, go to Amazon and it apparently ships in "4 to 7 weeks". Maybe it'll come out the same time as the EU version (maybe they won't have EU versions just a "PC version").

Either way, if you buy and try to register at steam it probably ain't gonna let you download anything, so I apologize if the deal cooled off some.
 
No, they seriously did delay the game ON it's release date.

Amazon, GMG, most retailers had it listed today, a lot of people are like "Where's the keys?" and they are saying it's delayed now.

Not sure what happened.

well i just got an email saying thanks for preordering, it will be available for download on the 13th. which was today. so i tried the key in the email and it activated on steam no problem. gave a funny name like "valvetestapp1234" or something when activating it but it shoes up in my library just fine with the right name. so no need to worry guys, you can activate and install it right now. :)

Its in your library, but have you downloaded and installed the game?
 
i tried to install it this morning but there are no files to download off of steam yet. At least for me, it says the files are corrupt when I tried to download it.

no i was on my laptop so i did not. dang i guess i should have gone all the way before i said that it was available. i thought people were just saying they couldnt even activate it on steam.
