Ok here's a mod I did for Gigabyte for their GESL event in Pomona, CA. I used a Silverstone SG01-Evolution case. The idea was to watercool the CPU because we all know that Ivy runs a little warmer than Sandy. :) So I didn't Want any heat issues down the road. Upon request from GBT I decided to try having the case airbrushed with digital camo. Its been awhile since I posted any worklogs and its about time I get caught up. So this is one of many to come. Enjoy and thanks for looking.

So on with the parts!

Specs -

Intel i7 3770k
Gigabyte Z77 Sniper M3
Gigabyte GTX680
Silverstone SG01-Evolution case
Silverstone SFX450 PSU sleeved with MDPC green, tan and black
Patriot Pyro SE SSD 120gb x 2 in Raid 0
Patriot Division 2 Viper Extreme 2400mhz 16gb

cooling parts -

Koolance CPU-370SI Water Block
Koolance PMP-400 Pump
Koolance Pump Nozzle & Reservoir Base for PMP-400
Koolance Misc. angles fittings
FrozenQ FlexTank res.
Monsoon Black compression fittings
Masterkleer 1/2in clear tubing
Mayhems Aurora Extinction Green liquid
Black Ice 160mm Radiator
Enermax White Clutster 80mm fans x 5

I'm anxious to see this! I've been looking at an airbrushed digital camo for a build I'm currently planning too.

Ok so here's some pics peeps!!

This is the SG01-Evolution case

Ok so I'm gonna be changing a few things and taking things out like 5.25 bay and HD cage. Here I changed the feet out for the MNPCTECH billet aluminium feet.

I'll also be adding another 80mm fan for better airflow in case above GPU. Here I proceded to hand drill out some holes to match left and right side. SO MUCH FUN!!! :) Then I drilled another 80mm fan hole.

Finished all those holes..... Yay!!

With the front removed you can see the piece of mirror acrylic that I decided to cut away some of it so I can put a grill here in front of my fans and rad.

Is this the build that was featured on Newegg TV? Pretty awesome to see the worklog.

Ok so I better get on with this log before it never gets done! :)

Here is how it looks after some cool airbrush work from my friend Nano

Here you can see again how much measuring I had to do to make sure all would fit. I installed the top brace and fan cradle with not a cm to spare....

Thats it for now. Still need to install SSD's.

You're greens kind of clash with each other, but not a bad looking mod otherwise. I wish I had a break to bend my own brackets ;)

My OCD is hating the additional holes on the side that you didn't measure to make the spacing the same as the originals. Maybe just cut that section out and use more mesh. I also agree with the clashing greens.

That being said, I really like the camo paint job and the watercooling. The backet for the rad is great, and the res looks like it was made for it.

w0w. great work. looking great. keep it up!
Thank you!

The greens more than Clash! But I wanted something bright to get people to look inside since its a mod/demo for Gigabyte. The brake is really handy. Wait till I start my HAF XM mod I made a new front and top with my brake. The more I use it the more I like!! :)

U must be referring to holes on top? I did measure the holes lol! But the average shaky hand would not drill those perfect. I tried tapping with a punch to mark each hole so the drill would not drift but aluminum is weak. Ya the bracket came out nice and that res is perfect!

Thanks for the feedback! You can see it here on YouTube

Thats never a good sound

No it's not. But it's my site not the mod that oops! I'm currently migrating MySQL database to my server at home. Because I tried to update my worklog last nite and my pics kept timing out. :(

What are the temps like on that CPU?

I'll have to check. its been a few weeks since I played with it.

Ok so I'm gonna finish this finally...

One thing I forgot to plan for was the two Pyro SSD's so this first pic was not gonna work... :)
