Strength in numbers.

I have noticed that too many everyday folders are discouraged when they compare themselves with the current top 20 Horde folders.

If you are a discouraged folder I have somethings to share...

Without you we would not be where we are.

Here are some stats on the Horde.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aspl6-RkaxtFdFFXQmtXVGVLYkktWTlmNEg3d1M3R0E

Our strength comes not from individual accomplishment, though great as some may be.
Our strength comes in numbers, don't undervalue yourself.

All we ask is that you push as [H]ard as you can, nothing more nothing less.
We are were we are because of each and every [H]orde folder.

Fold on, For the [H]orde!

Wow.... if the forum ever needed a like button it is now.

This is certainly advice well needed. Any team will faulter if it does not have a fresh stream of new members to fill the ranks. Also, having many more producers, team output becomes more stable with less fluctuations.

Here Here...

That being said... Skripka, I want to apologize, I threw out some big talk a month or so ago about mowing you and Freaky down... then I went inactive... Now my 4p is up, and I have 2 weeks before I move, if I'm lucky you should be eating my clippings well before then!

now back to your regularly scheduled positive vibes

I *have* to get around to launching that email, that when opened runs a virus that reconfigures all the folding clients running on or linked to on that machine...

Make sure to send it to EVGA :D

I'm sure we'll see eVGA screaming about me cheating with my unethical phishing email...even though I haven't sent anything out. :)

Nope, no email was sent out... nope....

lol... lets stay on track guys...

To the Bread and Butter...
We are a team, we push each other, we compete to drive forward.
What is holding us back?

What do you need from us to help you reach your next folding goal.

I think a grand hardware swap would be a good idea is we could pull it off.

I have hardware that I think is meh, but others might like to fold with it.

I'm sure I'm not the only one.

I'm on the lower end of #33 and doing WCG not FAH.

I have 4 rigs running 24/7 and 3 of them low end core 2 duo's which i'm looking forward to uprading to 7500's and i'm excited about that, its what I can do within my budget.

Staying excited about what were doing as a whole and as part of this team is the key for me, the ppl here are friendly and helpful, I love to read about the 4P rigs being built and about someone coming back after a vacation to see if its worth firing up their P3's. This team has enthusiasm and there's a place for anyone with any kind of rig here.

Interesting thread, and very much appreciated (and true). If you take the time to sort the [H] stats by WU's instead of points, you get to see a totally different Top 20 as well, and will notice that many of those [H]ardcore folders are inactive, yet attained HUGE numbers at some point in order to contribute so much. Each one of these WU's is a contribution to the cause, and that is where the biggest difference is made. That's where EACH of us is important, regardles of whether you're turning in big point WU's or the older single core classic.

Fold [H]ard, Brothers!

Some may look at the top producers and become discouraged, but they didn't get there overnight and they didn't get there by sitting on their laurels. I can personally tell you I set goals and I exceeded them, but not by getting discouraged, by getting out of the box.

I fold on everything I can.

Oh yeah I got some old hardware not needed, Maitreya DDR/Pentium d type stuff.

I have some of the cheapest power going...I literally have overclocked Pentium 3s slapping down 70ppd.

I have this problem see, kind of an addiction, every box I can get running folds its balls off until the electrolytics explode. I just got home from a job and the palomino CNC box in the garage keeps crashing to BIOS, got to look at that, probably a PSU situation.

Point is, yes, there are folks out here for sure would flog your old stuff without mercy 24-7

bring the hardware swap bitchez

sc0tty8, you where never in the box. Up to this point I'm not sure you knew the box existed.

Our top 43 producers make over 100K PPD while EVGA limps around their top 20 making 100K PPD. I am willing to bet this trend continues a ways down the line.

Great work everyone :)

You're right I was never in the box. I did know it existed. Zebras blend in with the heard, the cheetah is a lone hunter. I march to my own music.

since the current weather is causing my butter to melt I had to cut down on the bread allotment :(
should be "better" after the weekend though

yeah, the shack was a bit stifling last night, fog this morning though, and a cool breeze off the sound

all systems go...well, except that palomino core, damn, got to look at that
