Sounds suspicious. I'd consider electric interference of some sort , or even some kind of optical effect of room/overhead lighting vs bezel edges. Then eliminate other possibilities (flex they all experienced, moisture, viewing angle peeking inside bezels outside of actual display area?, overblown brightness setting bleeding in a hard line on actual edge.. etc.. etc. ).. also cables/connections, outlets/circuits, power supply. "When everything possible has been eliminated, consider the impossible". The odds of several monitors by different manufacturers having the same line for the same exact person due to a mfg defect sounds extremely slim to me by comparison to other reasons.
bolded is my suspicion.
I bought a house since I got one of them, gone through numerous setups with numerous cables, power, dvi, dvid, hdmi, multiple displayport adapters etc
gosh my third powersupply if not 4th, hell my second or third machine as my main rig
I wonder if the bezel is just out of proper alignment
I just assumed it was <A+ QC since its westinghouse, hanns g, and now korean off brand
Same SameI've never had the white lines on any lcd I've ever owned, and I've owned some crappy ones.
Same Same
You need to replace the Video card
There shouldn't be a line, especially not on multiple monitors. I can't believe you think this is normal. What are you using to display the colors? Are you sure the line is not the taskbar set to auto-hide?bolded is my suspicion.

which one of these Korean monitors have the best ability to adjust height from the base?
about 8 to 12 inches from the bottom?
Are any of them able to overclock to 80-100mhz
Don't mind the dragon poster in the background.. its from an old children's book.. that the author signed back when i a kid. =_=
Now, lets hope it'll last a few years.
What color profile are you using? You probably won't notice, but there may be a slight blue tint out of the box. If you use the 24' ACD color profile, it will make your colors even better.
At first it may look orange to you, but trust, me, it's only becuase you've been seeing blue too much.
If you guys could pick three of any brand/model of these Korean monitors regardless of price which ones would you choose for an Eyefinity setup and why?
Yes, some have glossy finish and they all have good black levels. Can't OC unless you pay a few hundred more and order for overclocker.net.I am looking at buying one of these 27' Koreans. I saw on eBay from seller Green Sum these are available for $310, but he also offers a pixel perfect one for $365. Is the extra money worth it? Here is the link to the pixel perfect one http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140723272177&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT.
I also have a few questions about these? Do they have that glassy glossy finish?
How is the black levels?
Are there any other monitors at 27' better than this for under $500?
I am also curious as to which Korean to go with? The Yamakashi or the crossover. Can someone tell me the difference and a recommendation on which is better in performance /build quality / and what looks better?
Also I may over lock, can both the Yamakashi and Crossover be over clocked?
I don't mean to sound demanding with all of my questions but I would really appreciate answers cause I want to purchase it tomorrow!!
THANKS!!

Sellers offering "pixel perfect" monitors will only guarantee against dead pixels, not stuck pixels, and if you get dead pixels they'll just give you $10 back per dead pixel, not pay for a return (unless there are more than 5). With that in mind no, I would not say the $50+ premium for "pixel perfect" (when it isn't really pixel perfect) is worth it. Your chances of getting one without issues just paying the normal price are just as good.
Maybe there are some sellers offering a "real" pixel perfect guarantee, but I haven't seen it.

I bought the crossover.. paid the $350.. which is $40+..basically for the better stand quality... I wouldn't spend another $100 for a "pixel perfect one".. this is about cheap knock offs...that are damned decent for the money...
for all those folks.. skeptical, wanting perfect, etc?
I would suggest don't bother with these. save your money and buy the ACD or Dell with clean clear Warranty availability..
these never promised perfection.. these are cheap.. off brands... its a gamble!!
if a $300 gamble is really beyond your budget...then don't bother. because these eBay monitors are a gamble!!
Personally.. Im glad I jumped in... but if this is too fearful an idea for anyone. dont look for greater hand holding.. there isnt any.

Most of their monitors have that same pixel warrantyUnderstanding our pixel warranty policy
Dead Pixel : 1 maximum / Stuck Pixel : 3 maximum
You guys know any solid replacement stands for the Catleaps?
true!
my point was some of the apprehension in some of the posts.. seem to loose site of what this.. a killer deal, with some risk.. but overall.. the ROI is high, given the large group that have already beta tested the experience
I know AW does it. They claim A+ panels, with zero pixel defects of any kind.
Considering the $100 price premium, they pretty much *have* to take them back if there's a pixel issue.

You get what you pay for. These are decent monitors but dont expect a professional quality monitor.
I bought a Crossover 27Q LED P "perfect pixel" from AW.
It came with no dead or stuck pixels but It did have a dark pressure mark (or strip whatever you want to call it) near the bottom of the panel. I sent it back. AW paid for shipping and got my money refunded.
I wouldnt pay extra for one again.
I owned a Yamakasi Catleap before that I bought from greensum. It came perfect, no dark strip or dead/stuck pixels, and it was a non "perfect pixel."
Its a gamble like they say.

I got a "perfect pixel" Crossover 27Q version from AW after sending a regular back due to 3 dead pixels. And guess what, the "perfect pixel" monitor does have 1 dead pixel too! I shelled out and additional $100 for the "perfect pixel" version too!
I received only a apology from AW as compensation for it...
