i had compared the Black model side-by-side with this White model, and personally preferred this model.

@Dan_D: yup, it looks like Mac. but does not matter to me nor my client.

I'm not complaining. That was one of the few Mac systems I thought actually looked good. Despite impracticalities with the chassis. I'm actually interested in this because I think I'm going to build a mini-ITX system for my girlfriend as she has limited space on her desk.

I'm surprised anyone received one yet. Was this a pre-release model? So far as I have read on various forums NCIX was expected to start shipping them out "later this week", but that was the only useful info I've found so far.

I have an order with NCIX for a black one, so I'm anxiously awaiting the case!

How much are these things going for?

They are $79 MSRP... Newegg has like $17 or so in shipping charges if you preorder from them, but per Bitfenix's Facebook page if you preorder by a certain day you get a free 120mm fan from them in any color they provide, so the shipping charge is partially offset there.

NCIX was $79 with free shipping. Per a comment by Bitfenix on Facebook NCIX should be receiving their stock "late this week" and presumably they'll have to ship those units from Canada to the U.S. before they can be distributed in the U.S., so I'm hoping I get mine mid-next week!

I placed my order for my ASRock Z77 mITX motherboard and i5-3570K from Microcenter (thanks to Microcenter's $50 CPU+mobo discount on select pieces) today, and have my aunt picking them both up tomorrow. Hopefully she can deliver them to me this weekend and the case gets shipped by Friday... in my mind it's all coming together, now reality has to take over and make it happen!

(Or Bourne could find a way to get me an orange case, which would result in much jubilee!)

White is definitely not for me. Brushed aluminum or black for me.

One nice thing about the black is it has the mesh front, instead of a solid front. Both look decent, but personal opinion is the black mesh looks better overall.

it's a matter of personal preference. i had compared the Black model side-by-side with this White model, and liked the White better.

@computersmakemeQQ: sadly no, as i ordered this for a client. will be shipping it to him pretty soon.

Yep, they are available in some Countries. I picked the white one up at PcCaseGear in Melbourne, Australia yesterday, $99 AUD.

Pretty decent case, I will start a mini-log tomorrow, as this needs to be done end of the weekend - it's the Wife's new machine, nice and watercooled.

I will link back once I post some pics of the build.

I definitely need to get an mITX gaming build going with this case sometime soon.

Are the drive cages in the front easily removable for a radiator? //drooling

As far as I can tell from the pictures the top cage looks like it slides into a groove on the bottom cage and just has a clip on top and bottom. The bottom cage is just four screws from the bottom picture. Should be nice and easy. Damn now I want to get one of these and go back to water.

I see now that I'm home and not on my phone. This thing looks awesome. Maybe one of those 6" Zotac cards and a 240mm radiator would fit together? It looks possible that a second 240 could be fitted at the top, and/or a 120 on the back. It may take some of the slim rads/fans, etc, but it would be cool, small, and QUIET. It would also look good sitting where I keep my machines.

Forgot to mention, this appears to be a good mITX server case, too. 6x 3.5" plus the 5.25 bay at top?! Nice.
