As title, this month is my Xrite DTP94 colorimeter birthday, it have one year of honorated service.

My two Eizo S2433W thank.

Do you think that my colorimeter is reliable after a year of service?
I know that colorimeter's performance degrade with time.
Is it the time to change my colorimeter for a new one?

What is the new toy for wide gamut monitor calibration?
I mean something in this price range, cheap but effective.

This is my last calibration with DTP94 on my Eizo S2433W.

Hi :)

The DTP94 lasts longer than what's otherwise on the market due to it's filter construction - the newly released EyeOne Display 3 Pro is also in the same ballpark. So after a year, I wouldn't worry at all. But if you left it pointing upwards towards the sun for two weeks (i.e. stored it improperly) I would say it's gone bad.

For wide gamut, i'd seriously consider the EyeOne Display 3 Pro, but I can't tell you if it really would make the slightest difference compared to what calibration results you obtain now. The DTP94 was designed when sRGB and slightly larger targets were the reference.

P.S. - I couldn't get your link to work. Maybe I need to register somewhere to see it first. But is it because recently, the obtained calibration results have been visibly "off" ?

Is there some reviews on EyeOne Display 3 Pro from prad.de?
It's interesting, it's not really expensive.

Is there some way to make the UDACT test with that colorimeter?
I find this test really good to achieve a good calibration, actually I use the dtp94 with the Icolor Display software from quato.

The link you cannot open is this:
