Customers who have shown an interest in game downloads at Amazon.com might be interested to know that this week, "Deus Ex Human Revolution" standard edition is only $6.99, the augmented edition is $7.99, and "Dungeon Siege III" is $4.99.

No clue if it's a hot deal or not, I bought it (aug ed.) like two months ago for $10 from GamersGate tho and I though that was a good deal... Still haven't gotten around to it so I guess I wasted $2. :p

I really enjoyed it, but it depends on what you expect the game to be. It's not like the other Dungeon Seige games. It's best played with a controller. If you played and liked the PS2 Bauldurs Gate games, or the Champions or Norrath games, you should enjoy DS3. I loved those games, and it played just like them, so I was happy. I think I got about 13 hours out of it, not bad for $5. Skip the DLC, it was too expensive, too short, and didn't tie into the story.
 
Buy Human Revolution and skip DS3, especially if you liked the previous versions of Dungeon Siege.
 
Just got this game not long ago for $30 and thought it was a good deal, and I couldn't even finish. Really need to consider to buy games for $15 or less.

My cut off for impulse buys on deals is $20, there's always a better deal around the corner...I'll do $30 if it's shortly after release like BF3 back in Nov.
 
I bought the game at launch and couldn't be happier. It's well worth $60 let alone $7.

For anyone using eyefinity it works flawlessly with this game.
 
$7 is the lowest price it's been since launch (but it's been $7.50 a couple times). Augmented edition is only $1 more, but it doesn't contain any additional in-game content, just bonus soundtrack, art and video.

Great game. I liked a few of the songs on the soundtrack demo so I opted for the Augmented edition. If you even like 1 song, spend the extra $1.
 
does augmented include the extra start weapons or soemthing? what about missing link dlc?

Hmm i got this game on release day for 35$.. Doesn't sound like you got that great of a deal. However for 7$.. this is a steal.

And the funny thing is.. That DLC is longer then MW3 campaign.

The DLC has been on sale for $5 or less, just play the base game and wait for it. :)
 
Yeah I bought the Missing Link at GamersGate about a month ago for like $3.75.

Stupidly good deal on this game, I can't count how many times I have played through it. Great game for sneaking around or just gunning down anything that even thinks of moving.

Just wait for DLC deals. I picked up the Missing Link + two packs for about $6 two months ago.
 
Thanks for the find Impulse. Been meaning to try this out for a while now. Got the Enhanced Edition and the wife actually really liked the music.
 
For 7 bucks I bit on the game.. have been looking for a deal on it..
 
I got the augmented on this deal, when I activated it on steam it says:

Deus Ex Human Revolution Augmented Edition + Tactical DLC (Digital Retai)

So I guess you get one of the DLC's
 
Just a word to the wise about DE:HR. I had a hell of a time getting it to run right. It was a stuttering choppy mess. I had to use EVGA precision to set a target framerate under 60fps to get it to play smoothly. Something is weird with the way it caches shaders, and above 60 fps it would get choppy. I'd be willing to bet if you had a SSD it would likely negate this issue, but I figured I should give a heads up.

+1000. I got 87 hours out of this gem. I didn't even wait for a sale, bought it full price because I like to support my favorite franchises. I did wait for a sale on the DLC though, because I don't like the idea of DLC in general.
 
Purchased augmented. I'll be curious to see if I get the Tactical DLC when I get home.
 
Bit on the augmented too. Hoping for that Tactical DLC. If not, only a dollar lost.
 
I wish I had the sountrack. I preordered the standard version. Great game. There no excuses for waiting any longer, go play this great game!

The soundtrack is epic. I might actually like it more than the game. In fact it was the trailer music that hooked me in to buying it because when you hear genius you usually know it immediately. I've had it on the xbox for a while and haven't played more than a couple hours, TBH I found the gameplay mechanics clunky. In terms of the FPS aspects it feels like a console shooter thats 5+ years old. However as reviews note its all about taking the game as a whole -- that its multi-faceted approach transcends any shortcomings in any particular aspect.

And I also happen to suck at aiming with xbox controllers so I will re-try this game on the PC, I'm sure it'll be more fun.

Any updates on the Tactical DLC being included? This is the first I've heard of it being included with Augmented Edition. If it is, it's an even better deal. The DLC (other than Missing Link) doesn't add much, but it normally sells for a buck or two on its own, so it's worth having if you were gonna get Augmented anyway.

I bought the Standard Edition from Amazon awhile back and the key came with the Tactical pack. I think some of the keys just have it bundled in.
