Corsair Graphite Series 600T Mid-Tower Case Review - Corsair has diversified its business tremendously over the last few years. Behind quality memory, PSUs, and contained cooling systems, Corsair builds some very well respected computer cases for the DIY enthusiast. Today we dig into the Graphite Series 600T case that is a very big hit with many of our readers.

So, USB3 goes through an external loop-through? No MB header? Weak.

Did they ship this from the past through a wormhole from 2010?

I like where case designs are headed, as long as we can also keep our metal/alloy alternatives. This case is a thing of beauty, despite the large amounts of plastic involved. Not an easy feat. Detailing looks fairly precise and the size is perfect for my needs. Great review!

I've had mine about a year now and I paid the extra to get the window...right before the white one was released with the window. Annoying. The pass through USB3 sucks too. It doesn't fit if you want to hide it well, so I just don't use it.

Aside from that I absolutely love the case. I had an A70 in it to start with, and upgraded that to an H100 when they were on sale before the new year this year. The amount of space in the case is simply fanstastic. Airflow is definitely not impeded by anything in the case. I removed the hard drive bays from in front of the 200mm fan, put one into storage and mounted the other on the bottom next to my PSU to unblock the front case. The drives are still close enough they get enough air to stay cool enough.

I can't really fanboy this case up enough...it's mildly embarassing.

Your case reviews are excellent.:D
There's alot to like about this case.

I was impressed by the 101C temperature on the GPU though...

I can't say enough good things about Corsair cases, I have an 800D that just may be the only case I'll ever need.

I just wish Corsair used aluminum......these big cases get just too heavy sometimes.

Hands down the most complete case review I have read. Smoke test, sound test, discussions on air and water cooling configurations....it has it all. Thank you Kyle for the review and everyone else for the additional experience and tips regarding this case.

That's not a Venomous X CPU cooler...

Actual temperature testing is done with the Venomous X.

Fitment testing is done with a wide range of coolers including the massive Thermalright Silver Arrow SB-E, which is what you see in most of the images. ;)

Thanks for adding the text to differentiate between mainstream and enthusiast! This review made me want to buy this case asap :p
mt2e, the case has filters, are the additional ones really necessary?

I see now. :)

Great review!

cool, i had no idea you could mount an h100 to the other side of the hdd cages. Does this leave room to still use the 2x120mm fans? doers adding the 200mm fan on top drop temps any?

If you look at the pictures just before the cable routing shots, you see that the rad is mounted with the two 120mm fans.
Depending on your GPU power cabling, you might need to put grills on the fans to prevent problems.

doers adding the 200mm fan on top drop temps any?
No mention is made of testing without the top fan in use, but it's hard to imagine that fan having absolutely no impact.

If I didn't already have a Twelve Hundred I'd really want this. It looks to be a better case, but not so much to spend the money to switch.

This case is old i'm surprised a review is popping up now. Great review and excellent pictures but I figured corsair would have sent you one of the new models.

I smoke lots of medical marijuana and yes the extra filters are required for me lol.

The h100 is an awesome cooler for this case and does work well, I will say because you have to take out the top fan to install the rad, u will want to reverse the airflow so that it draw air in thru the top and front and out the back, creating positive air pressure.

I will note that there are a few people making full clear side panels made of acrylic

I have done many builds with this case at work and it is still my favorite. If it weren't for the USB3 going through the back and the hard drive rails being such cheap plastic this case would be perfect. As it is I would call it near perfect.

Nice review guys. Just wanted to say that if anyone is considering this case I highly recommend a version that comes with the side mesh insert. Using just the mesh instead of the window drops vid card temps a solid 5/8c degrees at idle/load. The chipset drops a few degrees as well.
Not really sold on the looks myself -I mostly got it because it was the best I could find for the price at the time- but my white version certainly attracts attention when people come over

Awesome review, great case! I like the way [H] conducted the review with slew of HDDs, most sites tend to feed these monstrosities with one 500GB HDD (Ya, like that's gonna happen!).

I'm bit confused over the side panels; do the windowed and meshed ones come within the box and along with the cabinet? Or I've to purchase them separately from Corsair's website? I know that the white version comes with these. Regards.

Man, I desperately need a case upgrade!

I just used this case in a new build for myself and I really enjoyed it. I used it with the Corsair H100 cooler and I had to mount the radiator to the top inside of the case with the 2 120mm fans on the outside. I would love to do some other builds with this case in the future.

The link we provided at the end of the review is for the case WITH a side mesh panel for $139.99 A/R with free shipping.

The 600T is also available with solid side panels (like the one reviewed) and, as we mentioned in the review, the side panel kit that includes mesh and a window, is available for an additional $29.99.

Absolutely loved the detail in this review. I have been scoping out this case for quite a while and your review answered all of my questions plus some I had not even thought of. :)

Can't wait for your future case reviews.

I have been running my 600t for about a year now and I absolutely love it. I am glad [H] thinks so highly of it as well. :)

Does anyone have data on the impact on temps and sound that changing the solid or windowed panel to the mesh panel have?

I can get that for you right now sir:

With mesh window, fans set to low = virtually no change (fluxuated between 36 - 37dB)

With mesh window, fans set to high = 45dB

And, obviously, a mesh case window with/without fans in it will only benefit airflow / cooling.

I like this case. But I dont want to get it now.

Why do thave all these USB 30 cable hanging out and external?

Awesome case... Plenty of room to work, yet still a solid compact design. Best Mid sized case out there right now! Let a Geek Install it!

Man that is a wonderful case. Might need to rebuild in one of those. So many choices now! Its makes. It hard to decide! Fantastic review.

Ya i just got my hands on a white one and plan on painting it flat black or flat silver with plastti dip paint! :)
