Kyle Van Der Mewre and I transformed Antec's Lanboy Air into something that resembles make shift portable Nuclear Fusion Generator in Post-Apocalyptic landscape over his 2 day visit last week.

Our Lanboy mod makes no apologies for being Mean & Nasty looking.

The Gullwing style side panels were created with spring loaded hinges. The Lanboy was painted "Charcoal Grey" metallic with "distressed and weathered" highlights.

The front intake grill is a combination of machined aluminum 120mm "Reactor" fan grill and 120mm Blow Hole kit.

The XSPC Raystorm waterblock is kept cool with the massive 250mm cooling fan mounted on 8" x 9.25" wide Thermaltake radiator that was taken from their "SwordM" full tower. The fan behind the Stainless Steel reservoir is Enermax VEGAS Trio in Blue/Red/Green combo-LED with 11 switchable LED color modes.

Kyle created a custom switch box for the top with plastic wire loom covering the wires. The Green faucets created the illusion of plumbing for the toxic waste. The Lanboy chassis was flipped upside down with the NZXT 850 PSU relocated to the exterior. The watercool loop exits and re-enters the interior through in the top of the PC.

All I had to do was look at the first two pictures, I knew who made this.:D

Awesome man, just awesome.

It's unfortunate that it takes that much modding to turn that case into something attractive.

Nice lookin case great job on the mod! I built a system using the Lanboy Air and I have to say it was a pleasure given how everything comes apart it was easy to get things the way I wanted. Now I wonder what more I could have done to it.

It's so pretty...and 2nd the notion that this is the only Lanboy air that isn't total crap. :)

I appreciate the amount of work that went into this, but I just don't like this mod. Could be that I really dislike the lanboys. I really enjoyed your Serenity mod, this one not so much.

So again, masterful worksmanship, but not catchin my fancy,

I've never.. ever.. seen a case that I liked so much as this one before.

It literally should almost be sealed in a glass box just to be looked at

my god... amazing... id die if a spec of dust touched it.. or a fingerprint lol

Here is system photos as promised. It's been upgraded to Intel Core i7 970. The i7 is cooled with XSPC Raystorm CPU waterblock. The motherboard is EVGA's X-58 Classified with 12 GB of Corsair's DDR3 Dominator-GT and ASUS GTX 560 DirectCUII. Powered by NZXT's 850 Watt PSU with Win7 on Mushkin's 120 GB "Callisto" SSD.

Looks great, definitely a Lot of solid work went into it. Only complaint I have is something so nice not using more current tech.
