A little offtopic..

Cooling Capacity 250W
What does that mean?
It uses 250w + 300w from the graphics card?
It means that it can effectively dissipate 250W of heat from a video card - it does not mean that the cooler consumes an additional 250W of electricity.
Hard hit? NO. why would I want a 4GB GTX680 when the GK110 is what i'm waiting to upgrade to?
I agree, but I wish we knew more about when it would hit. I'm tempted by the 680s, but I think once Guild Wars 2 hits, I will probably play that 90% of the time and if that's the case, I think my 480s in surround will have no problem - giving me the luxury of waiting until the next refresh or the one after.
However, I just got a nice bonus from work and it's making a very different argument...
I haven't seen a white PCB anything since some ATI/AMD based boards a few years back, SB700/800 if I remember correctly. It's a shame as they look fantastic.
I believe the reason they aren't common being that they cost a bit more than they are worth and have issues with electrics...I'd have to find a source on that and may be wrong...
But just the same, a White 2Gb 680 from EVGA first would have me in a heartbeat. Hell I know a boatload of folks in here would buy from whatever vendor could build white PCB anything just for the looks!
Also, OP, your headline is somewhat sensationalist. "Hardest hit", really?
90 odd % of 680 users won't be hitting the 2Gb cap anytime soon.
Actually, yes. Really.
