I have decided to do a mid-cycle refresh on my computer and want to go to a smaller form factor. I want to keep my current CPU and RAM (see signature), and just upgrade the motherboard and case. I am looking for a motherboard that meets the following criteria:
1) microATX
2) AM3+
3) USB 3.0
4) Sata 6Gb/s

Through my research, I have only found 1 single motherboard that meets that criteria:
ASUS M5A88-M http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131758

Does anyone know of any others I am missing? Is this set of features really that rare? I just want a mobo that will last through my next CPU upgrade since this is just an incremental step.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Try the Gigabyte 880G-UD2H - I used to use it with a 1055T and it is a) cheap and b) has all the features you mention.

Asus AM3+ M5A78L-M USB3 (CPU up to 140W)

ASROCK AM3+ 880GMH/U3S3 (doesn't say wattage, but says supports x6, so it should be ok for 125W)

Gigabyte AM3+ GA-880GMA-USB3

Are you sure it's AM3+? Because it doesn't have black socket.

If you want to overclock at all be careful and do your research before you get the Asus board. I have the M4A88TD and you can't do much with it at all. Asus in their infinite wisdom saw fit to make it throttle the clock multiplier and voltage if the the CPU goes over 55c. This lovely feature can not be turned off.

A review that touches on the subject

/In short: I too am looking for a new non-Asus AM3/AM+3 mATX board

Gigabyte 880G-UD2H - Not AM3+
Asus M5A78L-M - No Sata 6Gb or USB 3.0

ASROCK 880GMH/U3S3 - Would be an option if it were actually available for sale somewhere
Gigabyte GA-880GMA-USB3 - Would be an option if it were actually available for sale somewhere

Currently I have my proc mildly overclocked and it doesn't really approach 55C with the H60, so that is not a huge concern. I would say, in general, this form factor does not lend itself to real overclocking anyway.

Oh sorry, but it does have USB3. I missed the SATAIII part though:

Really? Wow, i am impressed. It's the first time that my usual internet store has stuff that you can't find in USA!

So it sounds like my research was correct; there is exactly 1 board currently available in the US that meets my criteria. Certainly makes that decision easier...
