I was wondering the same, but not the printer and receiver. We're wondering what mount you used for the visio tv in the corner.
The tv is on the thing in the link, it's behind the monitor, just doesn't have the castors attached
Hah...a mini tv cart. Doesn't even look like it would fit. I was thinking of a tall monitor mount like this http://www.tykesupply.com/Products-Vertical_Triple_Monitor_Stand.html but this seems like it could work and you'd have some storage back there.

It doesn't allow you to change the legs like the other configurations.
Why would you ask a question if you seem to know the answer? The configuration you linked *can* be assembled with T-legs.

I purchased the TV with the intention of placing it on the left side of the desk. That took up a lot of space, so I did some searching and measuring and came up with the TV cart idea, minus the casters. Then I went back and purchased a second TV cart to store my printer and receiver. They look great and are relatively inexpensive at $20/each in-store.
The monitor arms are made by Peerless Industries.

Watch out, or you can catch Ikeacraiglistitis, wherein you see cheap Galant desks and just have to buy them.
I considered something similar, but didn't want to drill through the desk given my frequent urges to rearrange my desk. The clamp mount might not work if you sit in the middle of the curved piece as I do. I didn't want to mount the TV to the wall since I rent this place, so the TV cart fit the bill. The added storage is definitely a bonus, as is the ability to hide wires. I also have a center channel speaker and my cable box somewhat hidden under the monitor.

His question is valid. IKEA is selling that setup as a package, hence not allowing you the ability to change the configuration on-line. It's confusing. As cyberkost stated, you can use T-legs with that setup if you wanted to - just order the pieces separately. Have mercy on your soul if you have it all shipped to your home.
Ummm because I don't know the answer? The website doesn't allow you to pick t-legs. But I've seen it with t-legs. I don't know why the website doesn't allow it and was wondering WHY and if that affects you getting t-legs.

I like the t-legs. A-legs are a pain to level sometimes. I've had ikea desks where they had those types of legs and took forever to get it level with all the screwing and unscrewing. I also hate the look of a-legs.
It depends on what extensions (if any) you plan to use (which is probably driven by what you plan to have on the desk) and how a particular configuration fits (or does not fit) in the room you plan to use it in. The difference between R and L is which arm is going to be ~31" deep and which one is going to be only ~23" deep .. for example, one would probably not want to put desktop computer on the 23" arm (while it'll likely be Ok in the corner or, possibly, on the 31"-deep arm)
Which side of the "L" do you want to be the thick (wide) side? I think it just comes down to preference and room layout. You'll prob want to set up your computer in the corner or the wide side. The skinny side is wide enough for your monitor and keyboard but will be less room. My current desk is only 1-2" wider than the skinny side and I don't feel cramped really.
Hmm... possibly... I personally feel that the thick side is a little too thick, and that the thin side is a little too narrow... maybe if it was right in the middle... But Im not complaining with it being staggared depths like it is, the desk is awesome.

No kidding, is it that hard to delete the IMG tags??
It's made by Lane and I purchased it at Staples a few years back. The pleather is peeling back from the base in multiple places, so i can't say that i recommend it, especially given the price.

Been following this thread for a while, got my hands on a Ikea Jerker for free. Ordered my self a VESA swing arm for my main display, the secondary is sitting on the swivel shelf.

I managed to snag a Galant glass table top for $20 at the Ikea " as is" section". I swaped out my birch top and used the glass one using my existing Galant frame.
My original plan was to use the NUMERÄR countertop which is designed for kitchen use, but getting the Galant tabletop for $20 was a no brainer decision. I managed to use the Galant cable management system using heavy duty double sided tape ( since obviously you can't drill through glass)

The Galant isnt really all that cheap when you buy it new and setup it up with the extensions you like... the small corner section itself starts at 160 and goes up from there. The cheap in store special I posted can only be found in each stores "as is" section which usually showcases their display units and damaged units.

I had originally planned on doing something similar, but using the Lagan countertop instead of Numerar, however, before I had the space in my house (currently in the middle of living in it while gutting it), it looks like they discontinued it. I might end up at Numerar yet.

I've got the same issue with my Lane chair. The pleather on the arms is all cracked up. I sent an email to [email protected] explaining the issue. They say they're fabricating replacement parts to send out to me.
What's the mixer?
