Just some quick photos of the system after upgrading the cards on water. FIgured i'd post it somewhere where everyone could see it insted of some random thread.

More later..

Case is a MountainMods Extended Ascension with Quad/2x tripple rads on the front and another Tripple rad in the bottom rear.

Radiators are 3x Black Ice GTX360 Extreme and 1 GTX420.
31 Scythe Gentle Typhoon AP-15 1850rpm fans :) haha i know.. LOVE THOSE FANS! QUIETEST RIG EVER!
6 pumps (2 sets of 3 pumps) Liang DDC "Older models" that are silent and reliable. 1 group for the blocks + bottom GTX360 Rad and 1 group for the rads (1GTX480 and 2x GTX360). The water is exchanged at the Res.
2x XSPC Premium Laing Triple DDC Clear Acrylic Top for the pumps.
Res Modified EK-Multioption RES X2 - 400 Advanced with 2 bottoms as the top did not have enough ports for me. I need bleed ports to keep the air out of the top.
Bitspower barbs all around and i also went threw the pain of connecting the rads in the front with fittings only. :) Lots of guess work and over after order to get the write length parts. :(
MB Block - Koolance Rampage IV Extreme full coverage block.
CPU Block EK-Supreme HF High Flow CPU Water Block - Full EN (Nickel)
GPU blocks - 4x EK FC-7970 nickel/Acetal

Water Tubing- Feser Red UV - Gota mention this stuff as its junk. Been 2 years not even since i've installed it and you cant touch it without getting red crap all over your hands! Next time i'm going with clear tubing.

System specs:

Intel LGA 2011 6 Core 3960 @ 5Ghz
Asus Rampage IV Extreme
QuadFire 7970
X-Fi USB Sound Card :( Need single card bracket for my PCI-E X-Fi
32GB G.Skill 2133Mhz DDR3 Quad Channel Ram 9,11,10 @ 1.65v.
3x Mushkin Chronos SSD (1x 120GB and 2x 240GB Raid 0)
3 Acer 23" 3D Ready LCDs
2x Ultra X4 1600 WATT P/S 's

In that last pic.. i've had one of those D-Plugs pop off before in the past! Ton of pressure from the 2 sets of 3 pumps! haha. Thank god it was early on in the air bleeding phase and the system was not powered. But boy was it dramatic when it did one end poped off.. Massive water spray like someone put there finger over a garden hose to increase the pressure. Nuts. Strapped down for saftey! Will get some fatter zip-ties as i ran out of the black larger ones.

The link from the MB block to the graphics cards.. Thats just something a little different to give it a signature look. haha. Had the extra fittings and thought that would look different. :)

Also heres more pics of the insides from when this case was originally built (Nvidia Quad GTX580) http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.aspx?&m=693435&mpage=1 Post 59 was the last update for that rig before i upgraded the rig as shown here.

Also want to mention something very important.. If you ever run a MB horizontal like this with all the weight from the graphics cards and water blocks.. be sure to use rubber spacers on the backside of the mb to help support it or the board will warp over time and possably damnage it. I use some general sink rubber washers that you can get from the hardware store. A assorted box will so nicely. There all the same thickness but different widths. I double them up so 2 is the same height as the MB spacers and hotglue them in place on the mb in areas where the most weight is where you can fit them with no parts/pins. Just gota make sure of the height of your mb spacers first so that its all level afterwards. You can sand down the rubber washer if needed.

I wish I had your rig.

And your paycheck :)

Seriously though, that looks sweet and the temps look fairly awesome for running @ load.

Thanks guys!

yeah i was expecting something around the 40-45c range.. Was quite surprised! :)

You should use an EK Quad GPU bridge in parallel. Less restriction and better temps. :)

I'm using one with my 4X 7970.

And our builds are siblings. :) I also use an MM Extended Ascension, but with a Pedestal 24 under it. Our sleeving is the same: red and black (look orange on my pic, but it's my cam, in reality it's red...)

Also using Rampage IV + 3930k at 5.1 + 16 Gb of RAM, and 3X 30'' LCDs in Eyefinity. :)

Opps.. forgot all those fans! Cable sleeving all those was CRAZY! Felt like a production line.. took a few days.

Thanks man!

Just ran Vantage with a 1200/1450 overclock at 1.200v and heres the score i got!

Floored by it as my best prior was 65K.

[H]ardest rig I've seen in here!

Thanks man! Thats about the best compliment i've heard yet! haha.

FOUND MY 3DMark2011 serial key! Hell yeah.. could'nt find it last night. Have not used that since it first came out cause it was so buggy.

This is really awesome! I was looking at your thread over at Xtremesystems and saw this link in your post.

These pics are awesome, and they just make me happy. Great work!

And I always thought it was impossible to fall in love over the internet ;)

I'm amazed. I've always dreamed of building a system with the best possible configuration and by Jove, there it is sitting in this thread.

:) She is a beauty.. even my wife says its sexy and she's not into gaming/pc stuff hehe.

no pics of the rads and fans? :( awesome rig, man!

Older pics but its all the same down there currenty. months of planing and tweaking to get that setup right.

Tha POWA! :D
:) I'm sure my wife will be showing me the electric bill in a month or 2 and start bitching about it hehe.

That's ridiculously nice. Enjoy!

Thanks, will try this time as the last time it just sat there and i never touched it much.

Wow thats a nice setup. Cant believe it stays that cool. If you want to donate anything to my setup just let me know :)

How come when I went to the 3Dmark11 high scores you have the highest performance score but you are not showing up.

how much for everything minus the blood sweat and tears? :)

haha im loving this thing, i want to try this around my future SR-2 build. This is gorgeous and utterly sick.

i was wondering about the zip tie you got holding the Bits together. around the cpu. what kind of block is that? and how did the zip ties reinforce the..bits?

@ 2 GPH/ pure insanity... im so envious of you :(

Its cause i'm not using offical approved 3Dmark drivers.. and currently there isnt any for the 7970s. Even when Ati/AMD finally come out with offical drivers it prob will still take awhile before 3dmark gets around to appoving them. :(

That would be a hard number to figure out and hopefully one day when i'm really bored i see the stick of invoices and try to get a real estimate. I would'nt be shocked if the rest of the system totalled more then the current upgrade of just under $5,000.

The zip ties are to hold down the fittings in the U shape that are going from the MB blocks to the CPU block. No doubt needed as the water pressure in the past lifted one end off the cpu and water sprayed everywhere like a high powered fountain. I take no chances now haha.

They better get to it I want to see the 580s off the leader boards, I suspect some foul play... :D

Haha.. Was the same way when the 480s and then the 580s came out! Always stuck with some off driver support for the newest cards as the last offical drivers never support them right away.

Yeah sucks for me as it gives alot of people time to catch up for when i'm ready to submit my score! haha.. Not like i care as there will be a few that have liquid nitrogen setups that will blow my score out of the water.. i believe one guy already mentioned to me that the top score was 32K in 3Dmark11. His 7970 quad overclocks were nuts. I'm not gona go there as i paid for my rig hehe.

Yeah I hear you, On my old setup I was getting P2370.

I wish I could pay for your rig. Or at least just a 7970 with my shiny new 2500k.

Not sure what proc you came from before the 3960, but in eyefinity/crossfierX do you notice any kind of difference in frame rate with the 3960?

What fittings/connectors are you using between the video cards? I bought the the bitspower crystal link set without realizing they're 3/8" and I want 1/2". Thanks.

This is what i used for 2 card spacing.. NOTE.. yes 1" long D-plugs. Theres other length sizes out there that are shorter.. I believe Performance only has the 1" in black but other lengths in silver. Other sites like frozencpu or http://www.jab-tech.com carry other sizes if needed.

And also used 1 of these inbetween the D-Plug and the block just be keep the fitting from going in too deep in the water block. You may be able to fit it without the spacer but thats what i used and you dont have to use that.. you can use the D-plug slightly pulled apart to adjust the spacing if needed.

If your going for more like 3 card spacing just add a few of these extenders:

Very nice setup. Looking at your setup almost shorted my iPad from the puddle of collected pool.

How many PPD can it do? :D

No idea.. never Folded before. Maybe try it out soon and get back with you.

Thanks! haha.

Tiny update..

I now have on the way for tomorrow :

1 Mushkin Enhanced Chronos Deluxe MKNSSDCR120GB-DX 2.5" 120GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive

2x Mushkin Enhanced Chronos Deluxe MKNSSDCR240GB-DX 2.5" 240GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive

Now what to do with the 3 OCZ Vertex 2 drives?

Wife has no idea so i'm sure to get smacked for it haha.

heh. Wife is ticked off and just said to me 2 mins ago that i should cancel the order. As usuall she finds out from looking at the bank account.
