Just a heads up, Duke Nukem Forever (Mac) is listed at 5.00 right now which makes it free if you use a coupon. But since it's a Steamworks game, it'll give you the PC version on Steam anyway.

Thanks for the post. I have a $5 code so unless I want to waste it or give it away it looks like Alice, Bulletstorm, Crysis 2, MoH or Darkspore. I'm a little familiar with some of those and never heard of Anno (but it looks like a decent strategy game); the rest I either have or don't want.

Any of these titles stand out as an gem? I prefer strategy or adventure to straight up FPS fare.

I loved both dead space games and they're well worth it this price.

Is online play in Burnout Paradise still supported, or did EA kill that too? I'd like to get it, but only for multiplayer.

The DLC store is closed, but I believe multiplayer still works. They didn't release Big Surf Island for PC though, so you are missing (IMO) a good chunk of the game's best content.

so it doesn't matter if you have PC or MAC? using the MAC code will work just fine if you have a PC?

I really liked Alice: Madness Returns. Funky game with combat elements too.

EDIT: I just tried Burnout Paradise online and was able to login.

You might want to see if anyone has actually verified this. See my post in other thread for more -

Not sure on what to bite on. I only have $2.52 left. Thanks to Rome Total War, sadly not what I was expecting.

Just so people are aware, the better deals in terms of savings are the ones that are <$5 after promo code, since most AAA type games tend to bottom out at $5 (typically 75% off sales when the MSRP eventually drops to $20).

I just activated the Duke Nukem Forever mac edition on my PC. It's downloading now. I don't know which version its downloading, but it activated without issue.

I'll be eternally grateful if anyone pms me a promo code they are not using. I really want Crysis 2.

I find I like it too. Primarily because the atmosphere is so different that what is out there now most of which on the fantasy front are doing the same thing. Grey corporate office/lab or Grey Space Colony/Alien facility or some combination of the two.

Some of the weakness though are the graphics seem uneven to me. Alice seems passable, but some of the enemies and set pieces seem like they were low polygon pieces pulled from the original 10 years ago.

Right now they have Sonic Generations for $10 with the coupon, $15 without. Seems like a good enough deal to me.

Ugh, I've been going back and forth all day over whether I should pick up the Dragon Age and Dragon Age 2 pack. Someone post and turn me one way or the other please, lol.

Dragon Age Origins is great. It comes with all the DLC and is probably worth the $7 after-coupon price on its own. (Though I think it's been as low as $5 on its own.) Dragon Age 2 isn't very good at all, but think of it as a free bonus for buying DA:O. If you've already played DA:O and would just be getting it to play DA2, skip it.

So these deals are tomorrow only?

I think I'll get Alice with my coupon that was generously donated to me :)

DA2 is worth $7, IMO. Doesn't measure up at all to DA:O, but if it was released as its own IP I think reviews would have been mediocre to positive. The combat is it's strong suit, it is over the top but fun. And if you don't have DA:O already, that game is a no-brainer, excellent game.

As far as I know the previous low for DAO Ultimate was $6.99 (by itself) on Amazon. The Steam low was $10.20. Origin low was $8.99. I think the D2D low was about the same as Steams. The rest were higher than these.

Typically for big budget games the $5 price is from a 75% off sale when the MSRP drops to $20. DAO Ultimate's MSRP is still $30.

Yes should start shortly after 12am PST for about 24hrs.

Even ignoring that it's supposed to be a Dragon Age title, DA2 has a lot of issues. If EA hadn't rushed it out the door it would have been much better.

Thanks everyone. I have Dragon Age: Origins on PS3 and enjoyed it immensely. I think I'll hold off on the package as it seems DA:2 doesn't quite live up to the original.

Hmmm got alice for free, lol somehow.

Had a problem initially where during the transaction phase of the process it didn't complete(think it was trying to charge one of my old cards). Called Amazon because after I tried again the coupon code wouldn't work, So he reversed it and i applied coupon code again to same window were it got refused and it deducted 5.00 + 2.51 from the price, free... Don't know if he added that promo for me for the hassle.

There's some type of additional promotion going on, I got crysis 2 for 2.50. $2.51 promotion was applied in addition to the coupon code I used.

Guess, I'm done with purchasing games until the next 3-4 months. If anyone wants a promo code, first member with 100+ to PM gets it.

In for DA:O + DA:2.

If anyone has a $5 promo code they aren't using I would love to have it.

Also plan on getting Alice and Dead Space 2.

I got the Dragon age pack a while back. I already had DA:O from release, so the ultimate version was completely new to me. I'm in the process of replaying it with all the DLC. There's also Awakening which I never played, either.

DA2 will get played when I have the time. DA:O is proving challenging at nightmare difficulty setting and ME3 is certainly on the horizon.

I qualified for a code, but I'll be darned if I can find it... oh well

It will be in your email. Check for your last game download order (before 2012) and the code will be in a separate email right next to it.

If anyone has a code and is not interested in using it you can PM me. :) I even have some Steam coupons (50% off GTA4, 50% off Valve titles) that I can trade.

My friend's been wanting Dead Space 2 so if I can get it for $3 I'll gift it to her.

Quick question for Civilization fans out there. I want to give one of these games a try for $4. What game is better Civilization V or Civilization IV Complete Edition. I am assuming I can use Steam with both of these. I tried Civilization 3 back in the day and wasn't a huge fan of the game but for $4 maybe I will like one of these games better being older and with improvements to the games over the years.

Looks like I won't be using my code. I would have picked up Bulletstorm if it didn't require gfwl, but I won't install that garbage on my system. Anyway, here's a code for someone that can use it,

I have both of them. I like Civ 4 more, but Civ 5 is great also for $4. I have hundreds of hours in on Civ 4 and <30 on Civ 5.

If you didn't like Civ 3 though, you might prefer 5 because it takes the series in a different direction and simplifies some of the things that made the earlier titles feel tedious at times. 4 is also much more mature than 5 and has a huge modding community and a large variety of mods to choose from, if that matters to you.
