JUST Ordered 3 XFX Black Edition 7970s From the EGG

I thought the US economy was bad...haha, but seriously...congrats on those who got in on the 7970s. Can't wait to see some crossfire numbers.

Ya they shipped!!!! Getting my 2600k ready for some 5Ghz benching, my 2500k is stable there but no hyperthreading.

Yeah, I gotta tweak my CPU overclock back up myself for my 7970 coming tomorrow... only a single one but oc'd I could probably use more CPU speed anyway :p.

Ya the sad fact is I will have more fun overclocking and benching then playing games on this tri-fire rig. Another project I just finished which will be posted this week is a Racing Simulator in my basement with a Playseat, Logitech g27, a panasonic 37in Viera Led, with a 2500k and 2 6970 cards. It's sweat its next to my arcade machine I got running with Hyperspin front end which it took months to get everything running right ( that's my
Pride and joy )

Here is my new project Playseat/G27/Panasonic 37in Led

nice man cave, cute wife. Don't spoil your 7970's with buyer's guilt, just enjoy them :)

Oh i will, Rest of the man Cave is the doorway to the left of the arcade machine, Tucked away is a nice little movie theater ;)

Marc has given me something to aspire for. That is the best man cave ever.

Had to clarify in order to protect self from wife ;-)

Are the game systems just like display pieces? It's like a history timeline of video gaming over the last 30 years lol. Although I did get out of console gaming when I was about eleven and have been computer gaming only ever since.

All the game systems work, my 4 year old plays all the old school systems and of course his favorites are Mario on the Nes, And ghostbusters on the Sega Master System. It Is funny that on the arcade machine he will spin the trackbal and say Damn it Damn it, I ask him what he's doing and he says just acting like you Lol! We have some mean battles of Robotron and Joust on their that's for sure.
