The Lian Li Gallery

I'm jealous man I paid full price for the PC-V2120 B, but I had a code for free shipping. It's a great case, well designed & thought out, excellent Lian-Li quality through-out.

Newegg sales tax does suck, but $361 shipped is the best price to get a 2120x :D. Can't wait to put SB-E guts inside this badboy, gonna be a while though :(

Not a whole lot has changed in the way of my PC... except the fan, and more RAM.

Instead of the annual upgrade, I opted for a higher performance laptop that would help more with some of my work and hobbies.

The desktop isn't really used too much anymore, but my desk really needs some dusting.

Looks great. You sure should point that CPU fan to the rear. You're probably blowing hot air around in side your case.

Unfortunately, case partition does not make that possible .. you may have also noticed that the rear fan is an intake .. so that TRUE is probably getting some cool air.

I see my friend. I do notice the intake now that you mention it. Unfortunate that you cannot turn the heatsink sideways.

The mod does look awesome though.

Actually, the cooler will mount vertically with this board, and I've tested the temps, which were
negligible. However, with the TRUE mounted horizontally it really helps cool the north bridge (and the GTX 260), w/o it the n/b would need a fan ( and more noise). As well, the rear fan is an intake fan blowing cool air on to the cpu.

I'm about 80% done with my PC-V351. I'm waiting on custom side panels, sleeving, and a few other odds and ends to be done with it. Although, now I'm considering tearing it back down and removing the 5.25" rack and the front fan support to give me some more room. Cable management is temporary until I get my sleeving. The SSD's are going to be mounted once I get the side panels as well, I just stuck them there so they wouldn't fall out right now.

serious machinery, great temps, but the cable management lacks a tad. no big deal though because you're working in small confines. nicely done!!

Heads up to anyone looking to put one of these in their V1000, it is NOT a drop in upgrade.

Be prepared to mod the hard drive cooling fan bracket. The module sticks out much farther than the stock one.

It's difficult to get in there with a rotary tool and make the proper cuts. You'd have to pop all the rivets holding that side of the case together out to remove the bracket if you want to make it look nice.

Oh....and the audio cable is not long enough for an inverted ATX case. Seriously Lian Li????

Fairly disappointed in Lian Li on this one considering it was almost $50 for the new panel and adapter after shipping.

More pictures tomorrow. I still have to paint the HDD locking mechanism and two fans black.

Wrinkle Black looks awesome! Can't wait to see what you've got in store for that beauty.

Yes I did. I also drilled some holes to route the cables through the mobo tray. Having the cables come up from the front/sides looked too messy and it really bothered me.

I don't know if it is just me but I think those handles on the side are hideous. 5 Minutes with a rotozip solved this problem for me!

Thats badass! I been looking at these test benches and like what you did to clean it up.

This is my PC-9F-still a work in progress. Waiting on a Corsair A70 hsf and more sleeved extensions. Will post updated pictures soon.

Looking at those, I need to work on the cable management a little.

Went from 70c under load to 45c under load @ 4GHz.
