If you didn’t get out in the carnage and destruction known as Black Friday (although it should be renamed Black Thursday night/Friday morning) you should at least see what you missed. This YouTube video came from the Walmart in Mesquite, Texas. You know what they say about how they do things in Texas….it’s always over the top. Maybe tomorrow Steve will post cyber-buyers sitting at their computers in their underwear for Cyber Monday making online purchases. :D

Lol there is the choice of online shopping if people do want to avoid crap like this.

I could see some people might enjoy this.....but not me.

Reminds me of the story where the woman pepper sprayed folks @ walmart...so she could be 1st

What a bunch of mindless neanderthals... I would never degrade myself to that extreme degree. I save money by NOT going out on Black Friday.. fuck that.. people suck.

Look like a bunch of ants waiting to be stepped on.

You couldn't have said it better Xan433 "Mindless Neanderthals" is the best title.

This is exactly why the rest of the world thinks Americans are idiots.

Black Friday went pretty good here. Everyone I ran across was well mannered and behaved. Even with 100s of people trying to get movies at Wal-mart at 10pm everyone was fine and relaxed.

Sorry, I can't feel sorry for ANYONE who "gets hurt/crushed/etc" at those sales. that fat lady who "got crushed" was right in the middle of it too, she's just as much to blame as everyone else in the greed that's "lets see how much shit I can get for cheap" she just couldn't keep her balance.

people are worthless cruds. humanity needs reboot. sick bastards

this +1000

i really hate our society, i hate walmart, i cringe at the thought of even going there because the combined level of intelligence in that store is near zero

That's what I did. Instead of going to Best Buy, I simply woke up on Thanksgiving morning, found out what I wanted was available online at 7am, free shipping and delivery, and same price as in the store. Ordered my stuff before most people woke up.

People are idiots. I've only been in 1 store on a black friday, and that was when Dead Space 1 came out, I went in at 4 in the afternoon, and Target was practically empty. I went in, no lines, got my game at 1/2 price, and left. My wife now works at said Target, and she got off work at 3 in the afternoon. I went to pick her up, and Target still had lines, the checkout line was at least 15 minutes.

What kind of discounts are drawing these crowds? I went to a department store in Canada today and bought a food processor, regular price 330 dollars I got it for 280. I had a store attendant remove three different models from the box so I could examine them, the whole process took about 15 minutes for the sale. That food processor would have to be about 50 bucks for me to deal with the scene in the video.

So again, what kind of sales are in real USA black friday?

But that isn't fun to record and put on youtube!

People behave like zombies on Black Friday. The over the top displays of consumerism and greed like this are disgusting and creepy.

I love how the store employee's unlock the gate and run for it. Personally I would have left the gate locked lol.

Holy shit, I guess rules about how many people can legally be in a store doesn't apply to BF sales.

Was I the only one who wanted to have those gates close 5 minutes after they open just to lock everyone in there... (then perhaps have other evil stuff happen :D)

well you're cheap....lol

some of the hottest items this year here in the states were 42" HDTV for $199 USD, which if you look at the specs on it, it's a pretty crappy TV, 60Hz if I am not mistaken, not something I would own at any price.

I don't put myself out or fall into these animal farm scenarios for any corporation. I buy my groceries from the more expensive place because it is not the Distribution Arm of the People's Republic of China (Walmart)

Are black friday deals really THAT good? Before I became an avid online shopper and informed consumer, sure, I looked at the deals... but really?

Can anyone here name any OMG-I-MUST-HAVE-THAT deals?

p.s. I grew up in Mesquite, Tx.... it's a relatively small town, so its kind of cool to hear about the town on the internet... although it's for the worse, haha.

Disgusting.

This type of thing reminds me of why I should be prepared if some sort of nation/world event happens. If people are this crazy to get deals on electronics and crap, imagine people trying to get food and water.

This really brings home the idea that large portions of the population just need to sterilized.

Some are alright. I picked up two seasons on Fringe for $10 each. Can't complain about that.

No offense, but what the hell is wrong with you american's?

On boxing day (Our version of black friday in canada) we form orderly lines outside the stores, and they let us in several people at a time, and we patiently wait our turns to get into the store.

Same with the big stores like Best Buy or Wal-Mart, we form a line outside the store, and the store personal let us into the store in groups of 10's, and we patiently wait to get into the store. If you came the night before, you deserve to get into the store first and get all the deals, not, mad rush and trample your fellow man like wilderbeast

Where's the extra security? WalMart is culpable for their pathetic grade school level crowd control measures. When someone dies again, and they will, maybe they'll be forced to get a clue.

Seriously. "Black Friday" indeed. The only time I even remotely did something like this was when the PS2 came out (was actually a pre-release; we camped out over night at a walmart location because of limited stock in Canada). Almost everyone was civil, huddling close on the cold night, telling stories, sharing coffee, etc. The only incident of the night was 2 guys trying to bump line but we had created a written number system on paper for the first 50 who were there.

This makes me embarrassed to be apart of the human species.

And other things that I will not start in this thread. :D

No. You can get deals like these any day of the year if you shop online. People are just stupid.

Hopefully someone you know/love will be crushed to death at a concert or other venue with a lot of people because "they should know better".

I'm developing a gas for that to be used at BF stores.

Don't worry, masks will be provided to protect the unfortunate security staff and cashiers.

Hahahahaha

I love videos like this. No better entertainment than watching people act like uncivilized cretins and harm one another.

these are the examples that show that racial or cultural background is not necessary for people's origins in animalistic behavior to come out

at the core, people are animals, give them the idea they are getting something for nothing and they become cannibalistic

you think this is bad, imagine all of the power going out permanently....we would be grunting oogah boogah and dancing around a fire quicker than you can imagine
