Tribes Ascend Keys

I'm pretty pumped for this game. From the gameplay videos, it looks like it's really going to do tribes 1 & 2 justice.

Tempted to pay the $29.99 to get into the beta (and other stuff they're throwing in)....
 
I loved Tribes back in the day, I still remember using that laser sniper rifle from far off, and man, the gameplay was unparalleled back then.

I must investigate this further.

I wanted to give everyone some good news regarding the Tribes VIP Starter Pack that includes guaranteed Closed Beta access and is available for sale now at http://www.tribesascend.com.

1. After much thought (and getting a little drunk with generosity), we have decided to increase the amount of gold included in that Starter package from 800 Gold to 3,000 Gold! So, everyone who has already pre-ordered will receive 3,000 gold when Closed Beta starts. The package still includes VIP Status, Beta Access, and a 30-day Booster -- you are just getting more gold on top of that. (Note that the 3,000 gold alone is valued at $30 -- notwithstanding the Booster, VIP status and Beta Access).

2. Also, we are making VIP Status more accessible to all Beta participants. During Closed Beta, any player who purchases Gold or Boosters for real money will receive permanent VIP status upon that first purchase.

Remember that "VIP" is a special, permanent account status inside Tribes: Ascend. Those with VIP status will have priority login, access to exclusive VIP servers, and will earn Tokens and XP faster allowing for quicker in-game unlocks.

That being said, this game is fun as hell. I remember playing the original and never really got into it but I'm definitely digging this. Pretty sure I'm just going to pay the $29 for the VIP starter pack

I *think* it's one key per curse account, and afaik curse accounts only require unique email addresses to make. Weigh the time spent making new gmail + curse accounts(or using multiple accounts you already have) vs how much you want to help out I guess :) If I could, I'd get a couple extra keys to hand out, but I'm from Canada and I had to get a friend to get me mine in the first place.
 
Yeah, I created a curse account and I'm on the Tribes beta now. That was surprisingly easy IMO.

if it wasent for skyrim, wow and old republic coming out soon i would be all over this but man so many good games this year

still need to play battlefeild 3, played it a bit but got sucked back into wow, and now skyrim oh man
