firewall seems to have done it's job as it can't check packet loss, overall however it did a fine job:

Only server that breaks the 5mbps download cap.

Technically, the campus is wired for 100gbps, but for some reason they limit it to a measly 5mbps.

Mines wired for 10Mbps, but my friends room is 100MBit and he gets 97/75. . .
 


Not bad, considering Teamspeak, xfire, Digsby, and a few other things were running in the backround.
 
since lots of people are posting there results from school i figure id do the same
upload on the test i did seems a bit slow.

My results before were 32/4 and that's about the norm. Interesting that they went up. :cool:

Funny thing about it is that's it's free for the four first months and after that just $35/month with phone included. :)

upgraded to Suddenlink's 107 package...

they are coming out either tomorrow or Friday to make some tweaks at the pole, as the amazing customer support, pointed out some long term issues that need to be fixed but.... here is my connection right now!

Today I bit the bullet and downgraded my Comcast service plan to save some cash.
It sure didn't take them long to make the changes.
In the end it's well worth the $30/month savings to me.
The savings will go towards my PfSense or Untangle box build.

Yea baby. Now only if it wouldn't drop to 35 meg download during the day. Got a phone call the other day that I can now upgrade to 150/75 plan which I will be doing (soon as my bonus comes through..)
