Post your "rate my cables" here

well it looks like the radiator is on top, like an exos or something, so i dont see why it wouldnt be connected.

Yep, i have a cooling system under my floor on top of the case it's only a shroud to create some more space above the PSU:)

My new TJ08-E Clean and simple
Very clean - great build to digest where everything is and comes from. Its fun to sit and wonder how its all routed, but nice cable sleeving and dressing as well. Two thumbs up on the w/c/ PSU, that is just plain sick @ 1,700w - holy %$#@%$#@%$!@ - Frank wants one now....................:D

gotcha. it really looked like an exos, but then it didnt look high enough. you should post your rig in the water cooling sticky too. i bet they would be very interested in it as well. you should also put some pics of the under-floor cooling system too if you can get some. sounds pretty legit. so if everything is water cooled including the psu, whats the extra space above the psu in the shroud for? routing your tubing? also, if i didnt mention it before, AWESOME rig, truly impressive and incredibly clean. 10/10 on cabling for sure.

Thank you very much i have try to make the best of it.

Thank you very much i really appreciate your comment!

i saw this pic in the post pics of your rig thread and was gonna comment on the incredible cabling, but then thought better of it since it said "ABSOLUTELY NO COMMENTS" but now i can. 10/10. cant see a single way to make the cabling better except MAYBE trying to hide that wire in the drive bay (pump im guessing) by pushing it forward and routing it through the side of the drive bays instead of looping around the back. one other thing that would make the buld look nicer is investing in another set of dimms with the same heat sinks to fil those 2 slots.

Looks great, but holy overheat batman! Those GTX580's look cramped!

Thanks! the 580's are suffucating, begging for fresh air. they whine at 50db in hopes that one day they can escape the 85C heat.

to ekuest, thanks for your recommendations. the design of the case makes it difficult to slip the cable through the cage without drilling but i think i can figure out a way.

regarding the dimms, i was thinking about adding more, but i'm conflicted as to continue with a red build or go more on the blue side. i also dont want to paint the dimm heatsink and void the warranty. i would hate to have to paint the mobo heatsink though.

CSC...i'm a bit partial to white, i think you've done a great job here sofar! 10/10 for cabling.

thanks PB4UGO, your build is what inspired me to go the route i did. without your help i would just have a plain black case with parts thrown in.

i appreciate that, and you're doing great...can i get you to paint the outside of the case now? :D

I replaced my old Cooler Master Centurion 5 with a Lian Li Lancool PC-K57W that Newegg had for $48 shipped. I didn't do a great job on the wiring, I'm just not that great at it. It's much better than in the CM Centurion 5 for sure. I put the lower 140mm fan up one slot for the GPU. Added a 120mm fan where the 140 was, specs says it's compatible with 120mm but it isn't... I just used zip ties to suspend it. My temps dropped and it's quieter (cleaning when swapping everything out probably had a little more to do with that then the case but hey a 140mm fan blowing on the GPU intake isn't a bad thing either hah). Before anyone asks, yes I run a molex line out the back of my case for powering a 12v device ghetto style for now...

Finally got inspired to tinker around with the wire management with my new hardware. Anyone have any suggestions/comments?

Dual Loops plus raid array is tricky to fit in this case, but i cant find any cases that i like better that would improve my situation. :(

My suggestion: no pink :D. And get a better looking case. There is not much to do about your cable management.

It was red but to my disappointment it turned pink. Have been unfruitful thus far finding a case that I considered to be an improvement

From a modders stand point, I think that case is fine. It just needs some new life breathed into it. Powder coat the color of your choice.. Update your water cooling setup with new tubes / fluid.. Buy a set of new PCI brackets instead of those factory "knock out" brackets that came with your case.. You have a good layout and I bet your temps are just fine (you just need to spice everything up a bit).

I do have one question.. WHERE IS YOUR POWER SUPPLY??????????

(A few years ago, I had a similar setup as yours)

Originally posted on GenMay... I just remembered to put it here now.

When I did this, my new parts had just arrived. So I was in a hurry to power it on and see how it performed! Didn't mess with it since, besides putting a bigger fan (120mm) on the cover.

Tips on how to improve really appreciated.

As anyone who owns this case knows, there is very little room and not much for cable management in this case. But I did my first cable mod job and it turned out alright.

You did a great job!

Here is my budget SFF gaming build. Just finished sleeving my psu/front panel cables and modding front panel. Please note that there is no cable management options in this case at all but i tried to make it look neat, still working on it though.
