So on Saturday, it worked, hasn''t worked since I moved my system, no setting changes. When I turn my volume up in the volume control I hear static, no error in windows, when I play a shound & record with audacity, line stays flat. I even uninstalled/reinstlled the driver, no luck. Dev. man says it is working fine, no yellow marks or anything.

Double check all your audio connections to make sure that each plug is fully seated properly at the computer and the speakers.

Did one of the audio controls get muted by mistake?

Since you said you moved your system, I'd bet it's a hardware issue like a connection issue. Make sure that the audio cables are plugged into the correct plugin on the sound card ports.

Nothing is muted & I have Linux on the system with working audio, I have tried a lot already, un/reinstalling the drivere. dis/re enabling, upgrading the drivers & no luck. Windows gives no error & there is no yellow mark in the dev. man. I messed with it for a few days, I just ordered win7, I am tired of messing with XP.
