I just picked up RO2 for $25.16 over at www.greenmangaming.com using 20% off code GREEN-MANGA-MING1

I traded in both of these games for a dollar a pop. Got them free several months ago for free along with ARMA II. Haven't had the itch to play them.

Thanks AMD Gamer for the link. I was on the fence about this game until I seen one of the Youtube videos from your thread. By the time BF3 comes out I will be SWAMPED in games. But oh well :/ Better than having a dry spell.
 
The beta is a ton of fun to play and is a really unforgiving game. None of the bullshit killstreaks and perks that make the recent call of duty games a joke.

I ended up doing the same thing as it was cheaper than GMG as I couldn't get the $5 credit thing to work.

Got the same email about sending out activation codes as soon as they get them. *crosses fingers*. :cool:

Either way I can always just do a chargeback on my CC, but they seem reputable enough to me, and plus it activates on Steam anyway. :D

I want my money back.

I know this isn't the place to discuss gameplay....but....I can see how you'd feel that way.

My super short review for anyone thinking about grabbing this deal is as follows:

- Has real promise, especially if you liked the gameplay in RO1. Don't expect COD or BF style gameplay here though.
- Very buggy atm, in SERIOUS need of a major patch. Texture corruption, wacky ballistics, etc.


I don't regret my purchase, but if you weren't a big fan of RO1 then my recommendation is to wait this one out.
 
For $23 I am very happy with my purchase - sure it has some bugs, and the cover system is totally broke. But still a fun WWII game none the less, will be a lot better after a few patches - no regrets here. :)
 
I paid $27 and I don't feel too bad about buying the game. I was kind of getting cold feet before the release but now that I've played it I know it's decently fun and hopefully they'll smooth out the performance issues quickly.
 
I'm surprised they gave the steam deluxe. Anyway I have tons to play. I figure it will be a few weeks and they will smooth things out
