Post your "rate my cables" here

Update after I replaced my power supply, and added an 8-pin extender cable so I could hide the aux mainboard connector. Comments welcome.

The "black pearl" is looking good man!

I feel left out... haha i might post a funny pic in a couple days of my bitcoin rig.. then you can see some wires and feel better about your rigs ;) hahah

haha good eye btw for finding the zip tie and even though it is riding in the center why not just cut it  Especially if you want to go for the whole neat look...

which direction do you have the cooler blowing? in or out?

the H70 is set to exhaust. And i have the rear top fan as exhaust while the top front is an intake. With my side panel fan near the GPU set as exhaust. Still playing around with airflow in this case. opinions on cable management though?

I saw that I missed one after I turned it on, but got side tracked and forgot. Will snip it tomorrow. Thanks for noticing for me lol

New case, CPU and Mobo. Z68/2600k ftw! Case likes fingerprints though but a soft cloth remedies that. Anyone got any ideas to make it cleaner? I wanted to route the front panel headers through another hole besides the one I have a 24p ATX cable in. My case is the Sentey Black Box.

See this case ^^^^^ is where I would make it look all pretty inside because people would see everything... mine not so much... looks really clean man! i'm liking the red and black (although i would personally love blue and black but red would be easier on the eyes) now all you need is a red glow keyboard!

It's still a bit messy, but the plugs on this mATX board are much more suited to the cable management holes in the case.

Yep. One easy way to make all of your headers cleaner is to use split loom to put all of them into a single channel. You proabably want 1/4" or 1/2". I used to use it, since my last case had no wire management.

It is also good for concealing multiple SATA cables (i.e., for drives that go in pairs next to each other, and lets you give a single common color theme to all your cables so it looks more unified and neater.

Keep up the great work guys, There is some super slick machines here at the [H].

I wanted USB 3.0 compatibility, and the SATA dock.

One thing I think that can really help the Antec P160 (if you take the time) is to do a quality custom blowhole. Without it, there is only one intake fan, one exhaust, and the PSU fan.

OH my bad I should've quoted Wipeouts picture... sorry Lonewolf I don't have the case you posted... I have Wipeouts... I love his case cause I have the exact same one... you posted like a minute before me...

I was thinking 2004? that case is way newer than that! haha oops I thought you posted the Pic right before your first post... I don't know the name of it but it's an Antec case as well

That could be a P180. Well-designed and built, but gosh-awful heavy. Came out probably a year after the P160.

Or a P180 Mini, a lot easier to tote around and work with, but -no, I'm thinking the full-size. I've built systems with them --nice, if you don't need to ship one anywhere.

well no need to ship it as I'll have it for probably a VERY long time... eh, and if I ever get robbed I hope they sweat there ass off stealing it... hahhahaha want to make it as painful as possible lol

Thanks for the compliments. I'm actually rocking the Logitech G15 keyboard and the 69 mouse. The G15 comes with red-orange illuminated keys. The G9 mouse lets me alter the color of the sensitivity leds which is pretty sweet.

LoneWolf, wouldn't it be more ideal to just run them through some oversized sleeving liek 3/8 so it matches everything else. It split loom or whatever I feel would take away from the build. Maybe if I was to do everything in split loom I could roll with that, but what has been done is done. Thanks for the tip though because I love the case, but as you know with most midtowers that stuffing cables behind can be a PITA.

A couple little changes since my last post, New fans, Slightly cleaner cables, lost the white DVD Drive, added a gorgeous simple fan controller...

Could use some black sata cables, and some better wire mesh, but it;s a shitty PSU and not worth the effort.

Well, I'm RMA-ing my mainboard, exchanging for a different make/model. Guess I'll have a third set of pics next week. :p

0mega, I'd suggest one thing --do what I did and buy a 12" 8-pin extension for your PSU's AUX mainboard plug. That will give the length to run it through your case's cable routing system. It's an $8-10 investment, and it looks a ton cleaner.

Still some minor modifications to make (waiting on some new fans and a new CPU cooler, prob an H80), as well as some tidying up of the HDD cables in the back, and the optical drive cables.

Case is a Lian Li B25FWB.

I'm ordering some multi sleeved connectors for the 24/8/6/6/usb/front panel/audio but let me know how this looks, i still want to do some fine tuning... Need to decide between white or black single multi braided cables...

That's a sexy case. Good cable management.

I have the 600T SE as well, and I just spent a few hours last night transporting into it from an Antec 300. I'll put up some pics later tonight. Actually, now that I think about, I have the same MB, Ram, and HSF.

You might consider moving that HDD cage down to the bottom. Some people have been putting their HDDs in the 5.25" bays to remove them completey. How did you solve the USB3 header issue? I zip tied the bracket to the back side of the 5.25" bays. Are you using the window or the mesh w/fans?

Have you noticed any problems with your rear panel not fitting in completely? Mine seems to be bowed out a little bit on the bottom of the case?

I like seeing all these hidden cabling jobs but would also love to see some or more where the cabling/wiring is a focal point of the case.

i'm still debating cage placement, but i know one thing i'm not putting them into the 5.25" bays.

for the usb side bracket, i ended up unscrewing the pci bracket and using a ziptie to secure it to the back of the case.

i'm not experiencing any bowing of the back panel, i used maybe 50 zip ties to secure everything down and tuck the I/O cables, fan cables etc behind the 5.25" bays... also running sata power and sata data cables along the bottom of the case.

and right now i have the window in, but I have a feeling i will change it out to the mesh very soon.

while i can understand this to some extent, i'm all about a clean build. airflow definitely improves, and aesthetically to me it just looks nicer.

Do you have rounded PSU cables? I tried securing them down, but I have a non-modular PSU and there are just a shit ton of round cables back there no matter how much I zip tie them. I can probably do a better job of routing them in the back this weekend.

It's an older Corsair 750 PSU, but it is still fantastic and I have no reason to get rid of it but for wanting a modular one.

I am thinking about the mesh as well, but my temps are actually not too bad with just the stock fans in there. Staying right around 68-70C in IBT and Prime, and only hits about 60C gaming. Low 30s idle. I think the rear exhaust is probably too weak for the push pull, but the thing is very quiet so I might not mess with it.

my temps are alright, i'm overclocking @ 4.4ghz atm, temps idle are 33-34C (using coretemp) usually, but sometimes two of the cores will drop to 28-29C...

Asus wants to tell me that my cpu and motherboard temps are 24 and 30C respectively, the cpu temp i doubt, unless it's a different sensor under the die...

My power supply is a corsair professional series (modular flat cables) so it's definitely a big reason I can rout the cables without much of an issue.

man Corsair cases are just cheating, no modding involved for pure win cable management.

That said, here's mine, no window in my lian li case, so i didn't put forth a huge effort to make it look nice, especially the 4pin power to the board, need an extension for it. P;is my IDE dvd-rw drive isn't helping me any.
