MBP 13" Backlight Bleed

I just got a new MBP 13" from Amazon. Amazing piece of machinery, but unfortunately I have some backlight bleeding along the bottom of the screen. It looks like a bunch of ripples. Is this a known issue? Reason I ask is because it isn't terrible, but I feel I should have a perfect screen for the amount of money I paid. What do you guys think I should do?

I believe it is a edge lit LED display so the LED's are probably only at the bottom (or the top), which is probably why its only a problem on one edge of the screen. Minor backlight bleeding is normal. A "bunch of ripples" sounds a bit unusual though. Perhaps post a picture if you can. A perfectly uniform backlight is pretty rare though.

Looks like your not the only one with a bunch of ripples. If your not satisfied I would try and exchange it. My 2011 MBP13 doesn't have any ripples, just minor bleeding at the bottom, maybe 2-3mm.

its normal my mbp has it as well, just be happy you dont have any dead or stuck pixels.

backlight bleed ill accept but dead or stuck pixels is a no no!
