I'm about to head out to the train station and will be there in the early afternoon.

Someone please do some bitminning to so how it stacks against i7...

Thought someone woulda posted something by now. I bet AMD isn't letting any concrete CPU information escape though.

Probably have the desktops themselves behind some laser grid defense system.

A friend of mine said one of the BD systems on display locked up. That's gotta suck.

So is there any chance we're going to see some BD benchmark numbers or is this going to be like E3 where the BD was also "shown"?

highly doubt AMD will allow benchmarking since these are probably the old stepping version of the ES chips and not the new ones being produced right now. but who knows maybe some one has big enough balls to try it. the biggest difference between this and E3 is that BD was on display in E3, at this event people are getting hands on experience with them.

lol before i even saw the video i knew it had to of been patriot. :p

I'm here somewhere, chaising the coolest spot in the room, a little warm in here. Love the Eyefinity Dirt 3 BD setup, sure could use that in my gameroom.

so is anyone getting "hands on GamExperience" with bulldozer or is it just sitting behind glass?

this is today only, right?

Awesome show/tourney Kyle/AMD and everyone else sponsored there. Thank you Kyle for the shirts and the Rat pads. Thank you JJ and Gary of Asus for the shirts. Thank you XFX for the free Stalker 2 game and thank you AMD for the free Shogun 2 game. Me and my boy had a lot of fun and really enjoyed the event. The Dirt3 setup with the seat that moved as you drove was friggin awesome. Would have loved to have seen benchmarks on the Bulldozer, but hey, at least we got see some gaming being done on it. Asus had a really sweet mini-itx gaming box setup. XFX had a really cool three monitor stand that just rocks!! Congratulations to all the winners, especially the guy who had the ticket 1 number before mine and the guy that had one number after me. :D Lastly, whoever wins the Ares card, congrats and enjoy, one of the best cards ever.

Thanks again to everyone that got this setup, really enjoyed it.

They can't get the mouse working properly for the deus ex demo. Also the game looks like shit in 3d

That's what I figured. I don't know what the point in bringing BD was. To show that it exist? That it can run games? I don't get it.

Anyway, maybe something will turn-up about performance soon. Maybe Hardocp has some tidbits.

I had a great time. I was one of the lucky people to walk away with an Asus 6870 DC card. Thanks to all the vendors that put on a great demonstration.

Utnorris thanks for letting me ahead of you so I could get the lucky #219!

The event is nothing short of amazing, the crowd ranges from casual to super geek. Tf2 tournament was a blast. Free swag is always cool. Kyle seems like a cool dude however keep the pressure on him for the h100 review (he got it on Thursday so he says) and holy boatload of raffled items last round was 10 msi 6870s. Keeping my fingers crossed

This sums it up best! I had fun being the guinea pig for first one to demo on dirt3 setup(they had it set to level expert) I was flying all over the place :)

Thanks to everyone who helped get this together as well. I am about to install the Sapphire 6870 I won in the raffle as well :)

The Event WAS awesome loved every moment of it!Thanks again Kyle and all the sponsers for a great experience! Lol that XFX mufti-monitor stand was a beauty. I think I might go buy one of those :D asked the XFX rep he said they should be available at etailers and stores today. So happy I managed to win with my teammates in the tournament and get a Sapphire 6870 and got the XFX Warpad in the raffle! lol wish I could upload some pics from the even here.

Oh and that Bulldozer running the dirt 3 demo was awesome! I took a pick of it and you really cant tell its a game. you would swear its real life pic!
