Well I wouldn't mind it so much if it weren't for the fact that they come back with nearly full health until you perform the move. Other design flaws include driving and turret sections which occur too often and are each too long.
Indeed. Thinking back to games like Half Life, you also had to use turrets and such there, but it was an occasional thing and didn't really interrupt the pacing of the game. Other than the @#$# portal part, of course
