Holy hell! That's awesome!

I'm really, really tempted by this, since I just bought a gorgeous new HDTV... If it were a PS3 for $299 with an extra controller and a $50 gift card, I'd be sold, right now (I want the bluray player, and there are some games, like the Disgaea series, which are PS3 only which are huge selling points for me). MAN I'm tempted!

Yeah this is a good deal. If I had a little more time to catch up on my video game collection I would buy one of these and pick up the few good 360 exclusives.

As for the PS3, hold out a bit longer. A new PS3 model was recently submitted to the FCC. Price drops are incoming!
 
That's a good deal. Cheapest I've seen so far was 200 + 50 amazon giftcard at same, but no free live and I think it only had 1 controller. 360 is still the best console available, overall, and I own them all.

edit: I'm speaking offline only, of course, because I don't go online with my consoles except to pick up occasional patches or downloads.
 
You're shooting yourself in the foot requiem, XBox Live is by far the best feature of the console!
 
I don't like playing online so why would I want to pay for it? You do realize that there are gamers out there that play single player games almost exclusively, right?
 
Oh my god.

I wasn't even in the market for a 360 (I've held of this long...), but this is ridiculous.
 
i have zero desire to get an xbox, but this is still tempting me. if i didnt have a backlog of like 50 games on steam, and no time to play those as it is, id definitely jump on this. great deal for anyone even remotely considering buying a 360.

50 games!! And here I thought my barely played Demon Soul/3D Dot Heroes/Gran Turismo 5(all bought when first released) as well as still sitting in shrink wrap Marvel VS Capcom 3 is bad :p

Now I need to force myself to go play Demon Souls again. The painful difficulty is not helping :eek:
 
Is this deal now dead? There's no choice to get just a 4GB 360, only 4GB 360 & Kinect for +$179.
 
probably just doing this deal with the rumored price decrease that may be announced at E3

Yeah it wants you to add one of the xbox's in their little list for the bundle, and the 4GB 360 only is not an option out of the 3 available. I guess there's still a chance of doing the bundle in store?
 
That would have been nice for me a couple weeks ago when I bought my XBOX 360 4GB arcade to replace one of the older models I had. You know the really crappy ones with the original "Xenon" board. I grabbed the 4GB arcade model and ordered the internal drive enclosure for the new style consoles and then dropped my 20GB hard drive into it.
 
I'm guessing this adds more truth to the rumored price cuts post E3.

I'm in Canada and the Best Buy and Futureshop (same ownership) had the 360 for $130 (no credits, rebates or anything). Then they ran sales at $150 along with other stores here.
 
Looks like they've changed the wording and the deal. Shame - was looking to get one for the kids so I could have mine back. :p

yeah just pick the 4 gig console and don't choose any of the options.
sucks would have been nice to have the extra controller.
