24 in version of 2209 wa ?

This 2209 wa from Dell turned out to be one of the best purchases I ever made. Love it, and the price thru Dell business site was great also, Im wondering is there a 24 in version of this IPS display?
Want to go up in size...but dont want to change too much, Thanks
 
I don't think there is any 24 inch eIPS panels which is too bad casue I really like my 2209WA as well.
 
Thank you. I was looking at the U2311 , but yuk 16 x 9, no thanks....id rather pay the xtra for the 24. :)
 
HP ZR24w is your best bet. sRGB 24" 1920x1200 IPS, should look nearly identical to the 2209wa. Forget the U2410.
 
Yup, the U2410 is actually a downgrade in image quality from the 2209WA.

HP ZR24W or the Asus PA246Q are suitable upgrades.

If you are playing games/watching movies the Dell U2311h offers the best image quality.
 
Well, I would have already bought the Dell 23 in if it weren't for it being a crap format. Every screen I see that is 16 x 9 looks horrible and stretched and squished. Really, why do people even buy them....I guess I'll just wait.
 
Thats funny, because they aren't stretched or squished.... thats a neurotic observation. I like 16:10 better too, but ive come to accept that its unlikely to happen in a way that you'll be able to afford or even be compatible with your form of monitor usage.
 
Get the ZR24w if you can afford it. The U2311H is even smaller in height than your current monitor and offers very little extra vertical resolution. Sure, it is wider which is useful for games and movies but the HP will feel much more of an upgrade in size and space and picture quality is very good.

Lol..for the magic monitor man to appear at my front door with that which is not made! ( of course, duh...)

Buying the 23 Dell as we speak....should look good next to my 2209 ....thank you all for your input, and beating me over the head with the display stick :)
 
If you factor in the IPS panel, input lag, latency, color accuracy and all that....I'd say keep your 2209WA. I haven't found a better monitor yet, and I'm not itching to go up in resolution.

I replaced my 2209wa with a zr24w when it came out and the only downgrade was going from 75hz to 60hz. Other than that it's pretty much identical.
 
u coooould wait for the new samsung 24" pls to come out, like me :cool: .....hopefully i won't have to wait too long.

Yea, me too. I'm waiting for Hazro's new 24/27 as well to decide between that, the HP ZR24W, Samsung PLS, and the Doublesight DS-245V (Intrigued about it but I've seen no reviews).
